Out of the forest of Cherry Blossom Trees,
With mist rising over the horizon,
Across the Riverbanks she went,
Oh my fair Katarina, to where will you go?
Into her Wonderland she went,
Deep into a mystifying abyss,
Where performers and toupers did their tasks,
Where Dragons and Demons came to life.
Her eyes, lively and bright as sunlight,
Held her saddest moments in them.
Yet she happily walked through the dark dungeons,
Pass the Grand Tower and away up into the hills.
While she walked on the grassy highlands,
She hummed a song, a song of her past,
Of when Mother used to smile,
Of when Sister used to laugh.
Those days are long gone,
As the Cherry Blossoms lost their leaves,
The mists has vanished,
The river no longer flowing,
And Katarina went home,
Still humming her lovely little song.
