13. SPECIAL CHAPTER

To celebrate the fact that this fic is ranked #1 in PATPRAN category I decided to write Pat and Pran's pov of Korn and Wai's first date

***PAT'S POV***

"Love the dinner is almost ready, make a break and go shower. I'll set the table." Pran has been studying non-stop and that's why he has been staying in my dorm because I know that he won't stop to eat if he's not obligated.

"Just more five minutes." 

"No more nothing, please Pran you have been sitting there since lunch. Let's go love." I help him stand up and take him to the bathroom. He kisses me and closes the door. 

I'm really proud of him but sometimes he works too much, and his parents are too harsh on him. Mine are too, but I learned to not give it too much thought because I know all they want is truly to be able to fight between them, and they can do that as much as they want ...just wish they could leave us out of it. 
Our relationship has been through so much and still does, sometimes it amazes me how strong it is. Maybe because communication is our strength, no matter how unpleasant some matters may be we do our best to discuss them and find solutions or change things. He's the best thing that ever happened to me and I would go to hell and back just to make sure he is okay and I know he would do the same, I've seen him do it many times already. 

I go back to the kitchen to check the noodles. Suddenly my phone starts vibrating and it annoys me because whoever it is, it's spamming me. I check the phone and notice that it's from Korn. He and Wai were supposed to be on their first date today, did something happen? I'm really hoping that everything is okay, both of them deserve it and I know Korn is trying to ask Wai to be his boyfriend officially and I know how much they really like each other, even if it took that much time for both of them to be aware of it.

Bro, I need to ask you a huge favor. It's really urgent, please help me.#

I start to worry and decided to turn off the heat and give full attention to my best friend.

What happened?#

So we were supposed to go on a cinema date, but his anxiety started peaking the moment we step into the shopping, so I kinda lied to get him out of there. But...I don't want him to know that I lied because I know he will start feeling bad and overthinking. So... I need you to help me cover up my lie.#

We're similar in this. For us the safety and well-being of Wai and Pran make us move the whole world if needed.

Fine. What do I need to do?#

Well... I kinda said that I preferred to change the date to our group's meeting spot because there would be live music. The problem is: there's no live music, so I kinda would be very grateful if you and Pran could go play there. He would be amazed to see his best friend there and I wouldn't lose the boyfriend before having the chance to make it official."

This man is crazy, he's gonna be the death of me. I walk to the bathroom. 

"Babe, hurry up, please. We need to save our best friends' first date. I'll give you details on the way. Get ready, I'm gonna pack the food so you can eat on the way there."

"Are you kidding? They are lucky that we love them. 10 minutes and I'll be ready."

Pran's finishing shower. 15 minutes and we are on our way. You owe us one because Pran's exhausted and I really wanted him to rest. Make sure your boy drives slowly so we can get there with enough time to prep stuff. Please warn our group and Jake."
