After the truce was made, Epic and Nightmare could be together like they planned. The other aus were surprised at first before getting used to it.
" Darling? You awake?" Nightmare asked softly, incase Epic was sleeping." Hmmm?" Epic groggy opened his socket to greet the goopy skeleton himself." I am now. Need something?" Yeah, Epic didn't use the word 'bruh' around Nightmare anymore, only when Cross and Fresh wanted to do some memes." Sorry. Wanted to ask you for cuddles..." Was it his cuddle month already? He looked at the calender. It was, indeed, his cuddle month." I don't mind, was planning to go back to sleep anyways." He replied, making space for Nightmare in their shared bed. Nightmare went into their walk-in closet to change into his pj's.
Nightmare was in the bed, cuddling Epic. Nightmare rarely showed this side of him, only showing his infamous glare and stuff. Well, he was like a baby now." Zzzz." He heard, knowing that Nightmare was asleep. He felt tired himself and went back to sleep, feeling the warmth of the other.

It was in the middle of the night when Nightmare woke up. He looked around and saw Epic still sleeping and snuggled against his ribs. Nightmare opened his maw and gently took in the skull of his lover, being mindful of his sharp teeth. He took the first swallow, bringing Epic's whole upper torso into his maw. He swallowed again and Epic's whole body was inside of him before swallowing once more. He felt him slide down his insides and into his stomach, sleeping peacefully.
He smiled before laying down. Epic didn't make much of a bump in his stomach, seeing as he was the taller one out of the two. He closed his socket, allowing darkness to consume him.
