The things I miss

When Lily got out from the bus, the rain started to pour. The rain drops landed into her hair and dripping to the ground with splashing sounds.

She could get the fresh smell of the sand under her feet.

'I hate the rain. Whenever I'm under the rain drops, I miss my childhood. I don't like longing feelings. But strange. Why am I enjoying that feeling today?
The more I think about it, the more I see my younger version of me vividly.

I was running beside the road, holding an umbrella. I was singing random songs about rain and getting happier when the wind began stronger.

Whenever I looked behind, ...
I saw my mom.
She was always there. She was smiling at me, a child who's running back and forth around her. I guess I was too adorable in her eyes.'

"Mom, Dad, I'm back..."
I greeted them as usual.
"Oh my sweetie, how's your day? Is everything okay?"
They responded me as usually.

But at some point, I was feeling so blank.
