Y/N'S POV-
I was walking over to Kelly's house. It was Saturday and I could not wait to hang out with the girls, I know I hang out with them all the time but it is always so much fun everywhere I have moved to I have never had such amazing friends like Kelly, Darbie, and most importantly Hannah.
I knocked on the door and Kelly let me in. I was the first one there, I did live the closest to her house so this is normally how it goes.
5 minutes later Hannah and Darbie arrived.
"So sense we have the book now I thought we could spend the day studying it" Kelly told us she then said.
"I invited Jake over so he can study it with us" Kelly was finally happy again after losing the cookbook.
"Is that all we are doing today" Darbie said a little sadness in her voice.
"I have a doctors appointment at one but otherwise yeah" Hannah told us.
We got to looking at the cookbook while Darbie was sitting by Kelly's window looking really sad.
"What is up with her today she been sad all day" I asked them.
"I am not sure" Kelly said.
Just like that the cookbook shot to a page with a birthday cake on it. We looked up at Kelly's calendar she has on her wall and saw it was Darbie's birthday.
"OMG we forgot about Darbie's birthday we have to do something for her" Kelly said.
"Yeah we need to get her out of the house so we can set up" I told them.
"I have an idea" Jake told us.
"I have a shift at Mama P's but I wish I could sneak around to try and find her secret pantry" Jake said.
"Please let me come with you I would make a grate spy" Darbie told Jake.
It was then settled that Darbie would be going with Jake to Mama P's.
"Ok guys we should think of everything we want to bake for Darbie" I told them
We came up with like 5 things that we were gonna make that girl really liked chocolate so we incorporated a lot of chocolate.
We got to baking and setting things up. Kelly was just putting up one more banner when I looked over at Hannah I could tell she was stressed I really have started to pick up when she is sad, happy, stressed or mad.
"'Honey is everything alright you look a bit stressed" I grabbed her hand so she would look at me.
"I am worried that Darbie is going to hate it she probably already thinks we forgot it was her birthday" has she said that I brought her in a hug and rubbed her back that always seemed to calm her down.
"Honey you have nothing to worry about Darbie is going to love it trust me ok" I looked at her a pulled her into a short but sweet kiss and she blushed regally hard I thought it was adorable she clearly did not think it was cute and hid her face in my chest that was even more adorable.
I went to the bathroom and came out to Kelly throwing away the chocolate chip cookies we made. She said they tasted really bad so she was throwing them out.
I sent Jake a text saying to send Darbie home.
We put candles in the cake and waited for Darbie to walk through the door. She walked in the door and we yelled surprise.
"I thought you guys forgot about my birthday and can I just say that cake looks amazing" Darbie was smiling.
"Of course we didn't forget we just wanted to surprise you" I told her.
We enjoyed all the deserts and had to much fun. Kelly and Hannah started acting really weird very unlike them they were acting very childish.
We were eating cake when Kelly and Hannah started playing floor is lava and then we went to this kids park it was fun but something was very off.
"Ok I think I have had enough kid time today" Darbie said.
"No way it is still your birthday" Kelly said.
"Ok what is up with you guys did you guys make something in the cookbook" Darbie said.
I was with them all day I was not sure what happened them it hit me the cookies I was in the bathroom when they ate them and we used the chocolate chips that Mama P gave us when we discovered the cookbook.
"Darbie I think I know what happened we made chocolate chip cookies with the chocolate chips that Mama P gave us when we discovered the cookbook I went to the bathroom and they had one of the cookies and said that they were bad so threw them out" I told her.
We ran over to the kitchen and looked in the trash we saw the chocolate and picked it up they were marwaldean coco nibs.
Jake walked through the door and thank god he did we needed someone to watch Kelly and Hannah while Darbie and I figured out how we were gonna reverse this.
We got the cookbook and started searching for answers the book then flipped to a page with a riddle that said coco nibs can only be reversed with marwaldean white coco nibs.
The only person who would have that is Mama P. We made a plan that Jake would leave the doors unlocked and Darbie and I would slip in and get the white coco nibs.
Kelly and Hannah followed us to Mama Ps they thought we were playing spy's and followed us.
We found the whit coco nibs and were about to leave when Mama P caught us we all started scream.
Hi guys I am finally done with school and am on summer break. I am hoping to update more often. Also happy pride month besties.
