It has been 3 years now and me Kelly,Hannah,and Darbie are still best friends. Darbie is still the only one that knows I like Hannah.

Me and Hannah have been flirting a little bit but we are not dating I am hoping that we will be soon but we will see.

We were all at Kelly's and were making her grandma a birthday cake. I love grandma Quinnshe was like a grandma that I never had. My grandma on my moms side stopped talking to my mom when she married my dad and my dads grandma is dead so it is nice to have a grandma figure again.

It was weirdo one day she was all happy and cheerful like she always was but know she could not talk and did not seem happy. Kelly and her family are trying everything they can buy nothing has worked we are hoping that this cake cheers her up.

We were almost done and were about to put them in the oven when Kelly's brother Buddy came down stairs.

Let's just say that Buddy has a massive crush on me and won't leave me alone sometimes it can come in handy when we all want him to leave but otherwise he is pretty annoyed.

Buddy came and was about to knock over our cake, I told him to leave and he tried to flirt with me and ended up knocking over the cake. We all darted an started chasing Buddy.

He kept trying to keep us from getting him till we ended up in the attic. It was very creepy and then buddy knocked over some boxes and a cookbook came out.

We all froze and Kelly picked up the book we looked through it and there were some really interesting recipes like shut um up shortcake, lost and found do. Kelly figures out that it was her grandmas old cookbook.

We decided that we would make the shut um up shortcake. We got baking till it said that we needed sadronean vanilla, I had never heard of that before, and I have been everywhere around the world no one had have said sadronean vanilla.

We went to the only women we thought would have an ingredient like that Mama P's.

She had it and it was kind of creepy that she knew exactly what we needed, whatever I am just happy that we got it.

We got the sadronean vanilla and headed back to Kelly's.

We finished making the shortcake and Darbie was working on her shoots for basketball try outs.

I was more of a volleyball girl but Hannah convinced me that I should try basketball I was actually pretty good at it.

I got a text from my mom that I needed to head home. I did not live far from Kelly so I rode my bike to her house. I said good bye to everyone and went home.

The next day my mom dropped me off at school. I was greeted my Kelly who looked freaked out, Darbie who was talking very fast and could not seem to stop talking. Hannah just looked sad.

I could not help but feel my heart beaks into I million pieces when I saw that Hannah was sad. I shook it off and walled up to my friends.

"Is everything ok guys"

"No Darbie can't stop talking and Hannah can't stop talking"

I could not believe what happened it had to be that shortcake,  it how was that possible.

I thought about it all day at school and could not figure it out.

After school we had basketball practice for 2 hours, it was just tryouts but man was it a workout.

Durning tryouts Darbie tripped and was now in the nurses office talking her ear off.

After basketball we all went to Kelly's to try and figure it out what we were going to do.

We put our heads together and could nit figure it out. We were all getting very frustrated. Kelly went to get us something to eat.

She came back 5 minutes later looking very happy no food to my disappointment.

"You guys Buddy can talk agin"

Before anyone could say anything I shot up and said.

"Yay that is great but where are the snacks that I was promised"

Everyone laughed then Hannah said something so fain I could barley hear her.

"She is so cute when she talks about food."

Darbie must heard also heard her say that because she had the biggest smirk on her face.

"Omg Hannah did you just talk" I was so excited about what I had just heard that I wa red and felt like I could not talk.

Once we all settled down from the excitement of getting Hannah to talk again and Darbie to not talk has much, we had to have a serious conversation about what we were gonna do about the book.

I mean we had to have gotten it for a reason.

We talked about it some more and Hannah really did not want to keep it and just throw it out but Kelly said we should keep it I had to agree with Kelly I think it is really cool that we found and can make all these cool spells.

After much argument from Hannah we decided to make a tart to heal Darbie kneee do she would be good for basketball the next day.

We made them and then our other bestfriend Jake came over and had some of the tarot dough we all freaked out and then he said that his hand he had burned earlier was starting to feel better we used more of the sadronean vanilla, Kelly added it in so she was paying the price.

We were doing our homework and Darbie had just eaten the tart and she was being very impatient with the tart. I was to busy working on my AP math homework.

The school thought I should b in AP math and science this year and I said I would do it but it has been a lot of work but pretty fun.

Darbie then stood up and screamed I looked up from my homework and she was standing but then Kelly's arm could not move. I was scared she was not going be ok for basketball but knew that she would figure it out.

The next day after school we headed to the gym for second day of tryouts.

We were all trying to help Kelly out so she did not seem too weird with just using one hand.

After the 2 hours of non stop drills it was time for coach to tell us who made the team.

We all held hands I held Hannah's which of corse made me blush really hard, but I tried to think about making the team.

Coach started calling out names first he said my name and we all cheered a few other girls then Hannah, Darbie, and Kelly.

Captain was about to decided by coach and he picked Kelly we were all super excited for her.

She went up and talked, then something I never thought would happen she gave up being captain and let Charlotte be caption. I did not like Charlotte but for some reason she liked me, but if you hate one of us you hate all of us.

We all went home after that.

We talked on the home that we would keep the magic to ourselves, I mean it had to come into our lives for a reason right.
