*Louis' pov*
It was the evening after the meeting. I was helping Miriam make dinner. I tried to focus on helping her, but all I could think about was what had happened 2 hours ago. Why had Zayn left the band. I did not understand. Admittedly, I was kind of upset with him, and did not want to know, at least not right now. I just hope he made the right decision. I wonder why he did it. Did he do it because of Selena? I sure hope not. Besides that theory seems kind of doubtful, I'm pretty sure she wanted him to stay in the band. How could Zayn say everything was okay just a couple days ago, and now today, quitting the band? It did not make any sense.
I was fortunately snapped back to reality when I heard Miriam's voice. "Louis are you okay."
"Yeah I'm fine." I replied while trying not to look upset. Unfortunately tears started to prick at my eyes. "Hey it's okay, I understand you're upset she said in a comforting voice. She rubbed my back and I let myself go.
*Niall's pov*
I was sitting in my room with Catherine, trying not to get upset about what happened that day. Catherine had her arm around me, I jumped away from her when her phone rang.
She answered the phone. "Hello." I looked at her and mouthed "who is it?" She held up her finger and mouthed Selena." She stepped out of the room and I did not hear her conversation. While I waited for her to get off I played on my phone.
When she came back she sat down and let out a huge sigh. "What's wrong." I asked her. "Nothing."
"Catherine.."
"What. you know I know when you are upset."
"Ok.. Selena called."
"And?"
"She just said that she was really upset with Zayn for leaving the band."
"Oh."
"Yeah." We sat there in an awkward silence. Catherine broke it when she asked me "How do you feel about it?"
"Feel about what?" I questioned back, pretending to be oblivious.
"Don't play that with me Ni, I know you are upset."
"No I'm not."
"Yes you are. I can tell when you are sad Ni."
"Ok fine, I am a little peeved at him."
"I knew you were."
"How."
"Because." So what upsets you about Zayn's decision?"
I sat there and thought for a bit and then said I am upset because I feel like because he left the band I feel like he abandoned us. Catherine tried to comfort me but I didn't know how to cope.
