*Miriam's pov*
Ellen started asking Selena about her new album. Selena was polite as ever. Then of course, the topic of Justin came up. "So I hear you and Justin are currently spilt up can you tell me anything about that?"
"Yes we are split up, we have been for a while now. Honestly, I think we broke up because both him and I are growing apart in different ways."
"Hm a very mature answer from a great young woman. How are you taking this split?"
"It's been hard getting used to the fact that I'm single again but I think I actually like being free to do what I want without someone there holding me back. "
"Interesting answer. Do you ever think you and Justin will ever get back together?"
"I don't know right now, but I've been just taking things day by day."
"That's a great policy to have Selena." Then ellen announced a commercial break. When we come back Selena will be performing her new single "hands to myself."
