"Yo, yo listen." Jordan put up the volume on the TV. It was the news, and I'm sure they weren't really watchin' it and that it was just playing in the background all this while.
"It is reported that a man by the name of Isaiah Collins, who was just missing from his hospital room, was found in Lake Lanier. Witnesses say they saw him walking in the direction of the lake prior to his disappearance. His body was badly decomposed and damaged from the water, so experts used his dental records to confirm his identity....."
The gang exchanged glances all the while I looked off to the side avoiding shit.

I really had to act dumb the other day. Dumber than I usually have to act. My mind was scattered, my heart was racin'. Now everyone knows Zay's dead and I play a part in this shit.
Mind you, I was never a good liar. But when I'm manipulated, what damn choice do I even have? The moment the gang finished listening to the news, all of 'em started ramblin' on:

I was quiet though. I shoulda played it off and acted just as surprised but really I was pissed. I ain't even know somebody out there actually cared about Zay that much to go lookin' for him why the fuck did they even hold a whole search party? Damnit.
Enrico scoffed and shook his head, speakin' for all of us when he asked: "What now?"
We all glanced at Jordan who sat back with a grin and shrugged. "Why y'all askin' me?"
