Michael~
The guilt is eating me alive.
I can't seem to get what happened out my fuckin' head. And all Dexter can do is laugh and be proud of me. I'm not proud at all. How did I get myself into this shit? Where did it all stem from?
This never woulda happened if my mama didn't kick me out the damn house. It's all her fault. All her fault
"Mike watchu doin'? Sal's mama made food. You comin?" Wolfie asked, peeking his head through the door lookin' into the room where I am. I silently shook my head, looking the other direction
He kissed his teeth and crosses his arms, sensing my hostility. "You still mad about what happened? If you didn't shoot him, he woulda shot us."
I exhaled. "Nah he wouldn't have. He was unarm-y'all wouldn't understand anyway." I muttered. His lips curved into a smirk and I gritted my teeth glaring at him—ready to wipe that smirk off his face
"Wolf I swear if you don't stop smilin-" I made an amusing empty threat and he shoved me
"You really trippin'."
"Ain't nothin funny and you know it."
"I ain't sayin' it's funny!" He said but his subtle laugher said otherwise
I kissed my teeth and shoved him in the arm. "Man I don't wanna be in this gang right now. I needa go home for a while." I sighed, ignoring his annoying smiling
His smile disappeared and he cocked a brow, looking outside the room briefly. "You better not let Dex hear you say that. There ain't no goin home."
"Shut up Wolf." I waved him off but he didn't budge and stared out the door again
"Aye I'm statin' facts." He whistled and walked out the room with no further words being said. I sighed loudly again and looked over at the drugs we're supposed to sell tomorrow on top of the dresser.
A lil swig of coke won't hurt me.
I opened the bag, looking back to see if anyone's lookin'. Ion like nobody in my business at times like this. When I realized the coast was clear, I opened the bag and crafted the blunt, planning to get high off my ass today. At least I ain't gotta worry about this shit any longer for now. This will distract me.
So I did it. Just a little. Then I'd stop.
"Only this time"

"Venus!" Her father called out as she was in her room where she always was. She let out a soft sigh and lifted herself from her bed from just browsing on her laptop and walked out her room as her bare feet brushed across the hardwood floor
"Yeah?" She called out, standing by the stairs. Her father stared at her from downstairs. He had his jacket and shoes on, indicating that he's going out. And for that she smiled to herself a little
