Isn't slender sickness just annoying? As researchers, victims, or even proxies, it's a common occurrence and issue we all have to deal with. In this chapter we'll be talking about tips to cope with the symptoms caused by an eldritch entity breathing down your neck 24/7.
So, we all know the symptoms. Nausea, headaches, dizziness, etc. It's one of the most well known, and often written about topics in research journals.
They always mention what symptoms you can get, but not how to deal with it. I'll only talk about the common symptoms (headaches, nausea, etc.), not the obscure ones with no specific ways to help. (Like paranoia or suicidal ideations, etc.)——————————
Important note: If you have these symptoms for longer than a week or so, get help from a medical professional. You never know if it can be caused by an under-lying condition or otherwise. Don't let it get worse before getting help.• Headaches: A simple Advil or Tylenol can help, or other headache medication. (Acetaminophen based medications that treat mainly headaches help overall. Follow the instructions and dosage! Don't be an idiot and overdose. You'll damage your liver and/or other organs.) Another way to help it when you're trying to sleep or lay down is to place a cold & wet cloth on your forehead. Hydrate often and make sure it's not just caused by hunger or dehydration.
• Nausea w/ Dizziness: Gravol or other anti-nausea medication can help. It might not help much, but it definitely stops you from throwing up. Lay down if you feel dizzy, like the world is spinning or take a seat. Falling onto the floor or ground isn't really gonna benefit you, in fact you can get a concussion.
• Mild to Severe Amnesia: This is a tricky one to give advice on, even though I suffer from it. Best I can recommend is to write down any major or important events from the past or even from just a few days ago, etc. Other than that, please seek medical advice.
There are several I haven't listed because their remedies are either just common sense, unable to be treated properly with just medication or remedies, or like I mentioned before they can be from an underlying condition, and I'm not a medical expert.
The list for these include; Paranoia, bloody nose, coughing, coughing up blood, unexplainable fatigue/exhaustion, suicidal thoughts & impulses, insomnia, hallucinations of shadows/seeing things, sudden and unexplainable bodily pains, and way more.
If I'm missing anything else, tell me and I'll make a second part to this.
