So it was around The early hours of Monday morning , as A Thunderstorm Formed off the mountains Called the "serranias del burro" Which are 60 miles away from The USA-Mexican border where Ciudad acuña sits on, During that time (May 25th 2015) , The city of Ciudad acuña Coahuila Mexico, Witnessed A devastating, powerful tornado which claimed the lives of 13 people, 10 adults and 3 Infants, and injured hundreds more. Most of the busses were work busses carrying people to work that morning, The tornado rated Ef2-ef3, wind gusts reaching 124 mphs, Ciudad Acuña Which sits at the Mexican, United States border across its neighboring City, Del rio Texas, Acuña had a population of 125,000 people, During that time, In the US, a line of storms that stretched from the Gulf of Mexico to the Great Lakes dumped record rainfall on parts of the Plains and Midwest, spawning tornadoes and causing major flooding that forced at least 2,000 Texans from their homes.... I'm acuña, Officials said records don't show such a powerful tornado hitting the city in more than a century, The storm system that spawned the deadly tornado is the same one whose rains have caused flooding in Central Texas.
