the plane ride to la was smooth. devin didn't mind planes at all. she would just sit there, read a book, listen to music, and occasionally snack on the pretzels they would hand out.
tina had texted her when she got off the plane that her stuff had arrived at her place, and they could unpack when they got home.
"ladies and gentlemen, welcome to los angeles, california! i hope you enjoyed your flight with us today!" devin heard the flight attendant blab on as she packed up her carry on. made sure her book, airpods, glasses, and wallet was there, and grabbed her overhead bag as everyone left the plane.
she only had to look for a few minutes before she saw tina with a sign she must have made earlier. (here's what i image the sign to be:)

devin laughed a bit as she walked up to tina and gave her a huge hug. the girls had never met in real life before. so they were both so excited to finally meet. sure, moving in with someone you've never met might be weird, but not for them. not in this situation.
they have known each other for over two years and had conversations practically daily. they shared secrets and questions all the time. text after text and message after message.
"hi, devin! oh, you're so pretty." tina made a cute face and grabbed devins carry on as they walked to the car.
"tina, you're so cute. i cant believe i'm here!" she smiled, breathing in some fresh air after that plane ride.
"let's go home, roomie." tina teased as devin laughed and they made their way to tina- no, their home.
devin! i'm off the plane in the car with tina i'm at tina and ig my home !!
