I DO NOT OWN SUPA STRIKAS

"Okay, so where did you say we were playing again?" Tiger asked for the umpteenth time.

The gang were meant to have a friendly with Iron Tank, but Iron Tank seemed to have picked a rather peculiar place to play.

"I told you, Uber said we were playing on a glacier," Dancing Rasta repeated patiently. "That gives them a clear advantage dudes," North Shaw said annoyed, "Why did we agree to this?" "It was meant to be a friendly on the field, but they had other ideas to make it more interesting," explained Klaus. "Ok, let's do it and get it over and done with," Shakes said, clapping his hands and walking out the door, ready for the match. The rest of the team looked at each other before scrambling out the door after him, coach following.

Time Skip brought to you by Kronos coz i'm a demigod

The two teams were ready to play, the glacier tipping slowly from side to side. Rasta looked at it nervously. He definitely didn't want anyone slipping in. That much cold could cause death. Of course, they did have everything ready just in case but stil....

The game started, and right away Iron Tank barged through the midfielders. Fortunately for Supa Strikas, Blok tackled the ball and sent a swift pass to Tiger, who used his twisting tornado to pass to El Matador. El Matador got tackled by Von Eye, who got tackled by cool Joe who passed to Shakes who scored!

"Yes DUDES!" North yelled, while the others congratulated Shakes. " Zaro blar," Good Work," Blok said, clapping one of his hands onto Shakes back, which made the skinny teenagers legs buckle. The other teamates laughed. Meanwhile, Colonel Von Pushup was talking to his team, giving pointed looks at Shakes's back. Coach narrowed his eyes and called Rasta andTiger over "What is it coach man?" Rasta asked. "Is it just me, or is the Colonel planning something?" Coach told them. They both looked over at the team, who were now sniggering at whatever pushup had just said, and pointing at Shakes who was busy talking with El Matador. "Yeah," Tiger said. "Keep an eye on Shakes, don't want him injured do we," Coach said. "You got it coach man," Rasta told him as Tiger nodded. They ran off onto the pitch.

That was when the dirty playing started.

Shakes groaned. Seriously? Can't they have, like, one game with no sabotage? Shakes dodged Erik's rough tackle, and skipped over Ja Nein's leg. He ran across the edge of the glacier, missing all of Iron Tank's traps as he got ready to shoot.... "Shakes brother!" he heard Cool Joe scream and paused...

....Only to get slammed off the glacier.

He could hear his teammates and coach yelling his name as he fell, the icy-cold water zooming up to greet him then...

SPLASH! He submerged in a flurry of white bubbles. The cold seized him, his heart stopped. Dang was it cold. His limbs froze up as he accidentaly inhaled the glacial water, before panicking. His movements were sluggish, the light was fading, if he could just close his eyes.... No don't think like that Shakes! his mind told him, he continued to struggle, but sank more beneath the surface with each turn. His could see something being lowered and slipped under him, pulling him towards welcoming air, but his cold-addled brain didn't have time to register that he was being rescued before his eyes slipped closed...

Rasta ran over to where the rescue team were pulling Shakes out. He could see his pale cheecks, and lifeless limbs...

He wasn't breathing.

He wasn't breathing.

He ran over faster, knelt down next to Shakes, gently tilted his head up, and started pumping away at Shakes chest. Come on Shakes, he thought, it's not your time to die. He could see El Matador and and Cool Joe kneeling beside Shakes head, gently encouraging him to breathe as his arms worked furiously to get Shakes's heart beating again. Come on Shakes man!" he cried, "Don't give up! Just breathe, Shakes, breathe!"

Almost as if he had heard him, Shakes gasped. Rasta sighed in relief as Shakes started spluttering and coughing. He gently turned him on his side, and opened his airways to help him get the water out quicker and easier. Big Bo raced up to them with a blanket, as Shakes's heaving died down. "Shakes?" El Matador asked anxiously, but Shakes had fallen asleep. Big Bo wrapped Shakes up efficiently, before carrying him away to the Supa Strikas coach (As in the vehicle) While Dancing Rasta got up and he and the rest of the team started glowering dangerously at Iron Tank.

"HOW DARE YOU!" North screamed, "HE'S JUST A KID!" "Why would you plan such a thing?" Coach asked disgustedly. "This is just.. I din't think you could be so cruel..." Tiger trailed off, muttering darkly. Rasta shook with rage. "Next time," he said dangerously calm," Next time, there will be consequences," The team gaped at him, probably thinking, You're not going to punish them now? Before seeing Rasta smirk. "I think, being kicked of the league is a good enough punishent," With that, the gang stalked of to where Big Bo had put Shakes lying down at the back of the coach. Tiger crawled in and put Shakes's head in his lap, while North Shaw, Rasta and cool joe sat around the hypothermic boy, trying there best to keep him warm as coach drove them to the hotel as fast as he could.

Shakes woke up and shivered, keeping his eyes closed. He could feel something warm on him and snuggled into it, feeling more cold than ever. What the heck happened? he thought. A comforting warm hand rested on his forehead. "It's a bit better," he heard-was that Tiger?-whisper, as Cool Joe replied,"Good,". He opened his eyes.

They were in the lounge of their part of the hotel. The lights were dim, for which Shakes was grateful for. The rest of the team and coach looked at him anxiously. "Shakes!" El Matador gasped. "Shakes looked at him. "Hey," he said, his voice hoarse. He shivered again. Klaus came up and put another blanket on him as Shakes gave him a thankful look. "How are you feeling?" Tiger asked worriedly. "I've been better," he replied, before he sneezed. "Yeah, you inhaled half the sea from what I saw pumped out of you brother," Cool Joe smiled, though he could see the lingering worry. "What do you remember?" Coach asked gently. Shakes shivered, this time out of fear. "I was...drowning," he whispered. Rasta put an arm around his shoulders. "Don't worry," he said," We gave Iron Tank what they deserved.Shakes smiled,"I'm almost afraid to ask what you did," . " We got them kicked of the super league. Shakes gave a laugh," You did what?" "Yep!" North grinned,"It was so awesome!" Shakes laughed again before he coughed again. and again. Each cough racked his body and hurt his lungs. Rasta supported the shaking boy before lettting him rest his head against him tiredly. "brzzl blur?" Blok asked worriedly. Shakes was too tired too do anything but nod in response. "You don't look okay though Shakes," said North. "Guys," Shakes murmured, "Please, it's just a very bad cold. I'll be fine," The gang nodded reluctantly.  "Honestly Shakes, I was expecting you to cough like that when you were an old man, not at the age of 23," El Matador teased as the team laughed. Sakes quirked an eyebrow. "Who said I was 23?" he asked. They stopped laughing. "But then... how old are you brother?" Cool Joe asked. Shakes chuckled,"16,". "Wha... seriously?" Big Bo said. Shakes nodded, but he was clearly tired, so the gang decided to let the conversation go for now. "Is there anything you need?" Klaus asked. A twinkle came into Shakes eyes. "Soooo... Do I get hot chocolate?" he asked.
