(A/n: Filler chapter! In this one Alex is a hybrid of a cat, eagle and human. I will explain the background in a second but I will be saying the characters, age, ships and family relations first! so please enjoy)

When a young boy was born, he was experimented on and had tests daily which in resulted in his transformation into a hybrid, he was never taught how to talk, read, write or anything he wasn't even allowed to eat, he only got one drink of water per day and a special pill that helped him get some of the necessities in his body, he wished that he could be free and see the world but the workers and his parents said that he was too precious to lose and they needed the money, basically they used their own son as a piggy bank and money maker. But one day on the child's 10th birthday, in a separate room, a different experiment went very wrong and caused an explosion meaning the building got destroyed, all of the people that worked there and the child's parents died in the explosion but he had somehow survived but had severe injuries on his arms and legs so he was quite weak and couldn't move an inch. 

The child laid there for a few minutes before trying to stand up and managed to gather enough strength to walk a few steps but almost fell a few times so he leaned against one of the remaining walls of the room for support. Suddenly there were voices and loud foot steps "Is there any survivors?" a voice rang through the ruined building and the kid tried to scream out for help but nothing came out, he was scared and he didn't even know how to talk so he just went the opposite way the voices were coming from and stumbled out the building, landing on a pile of trash bags (Cliche), he lost consciousness after a few minutes. In the morning he woke up to a loud noise near by and looked around to see what made the noise and he saw there was a thunder storm on it's way, so he chose that he was going to find shelter, he made his way through fields and woods when he came across a huge skyscraper. The hybrid child noticed an alleyway next to the tall building and walked into it but didn't find anything to keep himself dry, 'I might as well just explore this place' the kid thought to himself but quickly remembered about the pair of cats ears on his head and the smallish wings on his back so he grabbed a jacket off of a clothing line he saw and lifted the hood over his head. As he was walking around the city he felt a little tingle on top of his head and on his back so he felt where his ears were and realised that they weren't there anymore and he checked his back but couldn't feel any outline of the wings and that's when he realised that he can hide his ears and wings on command so he took the hood down before continuing to look around.
