It was a sunny day in the lovely streets of Seoul, people happily walking around, cars driving through loud streets and families having a day out. There was a hint of sadness mixed with all this joy, the sadness was coming from a boy who goes by the name Shadow but of course that's not his real name, his real name is Min Alex. Alex is 19 years old with no family or friends, not even a partner to be loved by, of course he had something to keep him company, music, it was his passion and he had a few favourite bands but mainly a group called BTS. BTS was what helped him when he lost everything but he has never seen them in real life but he has been saving all his money to go to a concert which was taking place in 3 days but even with the event, he was still upset because even if he also has a backstage pass he wouldn't be able to talk to them since he was mute, not permanently, he is mute by choice . Alex doesn't communicate properly so he questioned why he even got the pass in the first place, as the boy kept walking he heard some squealing from up ahead but he decided to ignore it, well that was until he heard something "Bangtan marry me!" a girl screamed catching Alex's attention so he rushed to the group and there they were, BTS surrounded by fans as they were trying to have a calm day out but the fans weren't helping. So Alex did all he could think of, he shoved past the crowd and got to the boys before tapping the nearest one's shoulder "Yes?" the voice of Jimin said as he looked at the shorter male who nodded towards the others and then nodded towards an alleyway "Ok um I'll tell the others to follow you" Jimin spoke but it sounded more like a question and he told the others who quickly looked at Alex who nodded towards the alleyway again "Lead the way" RM said as he looked down the gap before the group ran after Alex who was already bolting through the crowd and into the alley. After a few minutes of running they all entered an abandoned looking building with many rooms inside which Alex had motioned for the boys to hide in since there were still some people chasing them so Alex went outside so the people don't go inside "Hey loser! Did you see 7 boys around here? They were following someone and I think they went this way" a familiar girl asked making him shake his head as a no "Whatever, also that paper better be finished by tomorrow you weirdo or else you know what will happen" the girl threatened before walking away with the other people. Once he was sure they were all gone Alex went back inside before heading to his 'room' only to find all of BTS sitting in there "Oh you're back! we were worried in case you might have gotten trampled by A.R.M.Y" J-hope said standing up with a smile "Speaking of A.R.M.Y, Are you A.R.M.Y?" Taehyung asked the boy who had saved them only gaining a nod from him. "This might be a sensitive topic but do you talk?" Jimin asked as he looked up at Alex who mumbled something, the boy spoke in no more then an extremely quiet whisper hoping the boys heard it but they didn't so he just shook his head 'no' "We won't ask why if you're uncomfortable explaining" Jungkook reassured the boy who fidgeted slightly. "Do have a phone you can use to talk or type stuff out?" Yoongi asked only to have Alex shake his head 'no' once again "Well you can use my phone" Namjoon said while unlocking said device before going onto an app with a speech button "Here, you can press this so the sentence can be said" Namjoon explained while handing the phone to the boy in front of the group. "So first question what's your name?" Jin asked as he tilted his head before Alex typed the answer and pressed the button "Alex Min, I am 19 years old" the phone said(?) as Alex smiled slightly "Ok, Why aren't you, y'know going crazy like the rest since you're A.R.M.Y?" Yoongi asked with confusion so Alex immediately started typing, "I am probably your guys' number one male fan but I'm not like those other people, I don't see you guys as just idols or celebrities, I see you as human beings that are just like us and who are just trying to make a better self loving community" was the sentence that came from the phone once it had been all typed out. "Wow, but one of our main questions is, why did you bring us here? It doesn't really look that safe or healthy for one to be here" Jimin said making Alex slightly tear up "Hey, please don't cry" Jungkook said as he ran over to the very teary boy who was typing out an answer and when it was done they were all shocked as to what they heard "This is my home, I've lived here ever since I was 10, so it's the only place I knew that no one would go in" was all they need to hear before pulling the boy into a hug "But why are you living here? It's a huge health risk (As if I care about my own health)" Jin said as he whipped some of his tears away. "I was kicked out when my parents found out I was transgender and once they had enough of beating me, I did find some friends but they were just using me for their own reputation but soon betrayed me and started bullying me and since I didn't want to live on the streets I live here, my only possessions being my mp3 player, the charger for it and my grey teddy bear (NOONA YOU KNOW WHO I'M TALKING ABOUT!) I've had these clothes for years since I've only grown a few inches and they've always been way too big but I've never gotten a hair cut or shower" the phone phrased what Alex had typed out making the members get a little bit teary. "You poor bean, why don't you come with us to our dorms? you could get all cleaned up and then we could have a talk about you staying with us" Taehyung gave Alex a smile to try help him stop crying which didn't really work so he wrapped an arm around the boys shoulders and slightly rubbed his upper arm. "Yeah! Let's get going!" J-hope cheered making Alex lead the way out the building but not after grabbing his only three possessions. "So first before we actually get to the sleeping arrangements, you can have a shower or bath then one of us will get you some clean clothes and I will make us a nice big dinner since you look way too thin (Just know that this boy hasn't eaten probably for months or even years so please I am not trying to hate on thin people, it's just the character's situation and not having eaten) and we are mainly hungry" Jin explained to the boy who was walking between him and Namjoon. "Say Alex? do you sing? I just thought about it since we were wondering if you wanted to join us during the concert (I sing a lot, my Noona can prove that)" Jimin asked making the boy nod "Awesome! you can show us what you can do after!" J-hope cheered as they all entered the house "I'll show you where the bathroom is, oh and don't mind the girls or any of the others that are in the house" Yoongi said as he lead Alex towards the main bathroom. "One of the others will probably be back to give you clothes" Yoongi said before leaving, as Alex entered the bathroom he looked at all the things that caught his attention and he giggled slightly when he spotted some stickers on one of the mirrors that was on the wall, he figured it was Jungkook's idea for the stickers since most of them were some of the cartoon characters he liked. After a few minutes there was a knock on the door so Alex walked over and opened it "Oh, you're still in those clothes and haven't even turned the shower on" Jungkook said as he entered the room fully "Here is a towel and some clothes, they're mine so they might be a bit big on you but the boxers are a pair of Harvey's old ones so they will probably fit" Jungkook beamed as he looked at the silent boy "Do you need help with getting the shower on or?" he questioned, curious as to why the boy hasn't motioned for him to get out yet "s-soap (He hasn't talked for years so he sometimes struggles forming complete sentences and he never trusts himself to fully speak so he tries only doing one word things)" the boy stuttered making the older male stare at him in awe. "Oh! You can use mine, it's the one with a marshmallow sticker on it" he chuckled as the boy nodded before motioning towards the door which made Junkook leave and Alex locked the door before getting undressed and went for his long overdue needed shower. "Like an echo in the forest, the day will come back around, as if nothing happened" Alex sang as he continued to wash his soft black hair while trying not look at his unwanted chest "Yeah life goes on, Like an arrow in the blue sky, Another day flying by, On my pillow, on my table" he continued with a calm smile on his face before turning the shower off and getting out "Yeah, life goes on, Like this again" he sang as he put his binder back on along with the giant hoodie that had been given to him "Let me tell you with this song, People say the world has changed" Alex began to rap while putting on the underwear but didn't end up putting the trousers on so he was just in the hoodie (Hoodie goes down to just under the knee) and the main things. When he left the bathroom he continued to hum the tune of 'Life Goes On' unaware that all the members along with the other people in the house had heard him singing, "Oh Alex! I'll take those for you, I'll ask Jin-hyung to wash them" RM smiled while taking the dirty clothes and towel from the now very confused boy "Jungkookie?" Alex questioned as he looked at Namjoon "Oh, he's in mine, Harvey's and Tae's room which is just there" he smiled as he pointed to a room with a pale green door making Alex nod before walking to the said door and knocked lightly "Come in!" someone said before he opened the door slightly while poking his head in "Alex! we were just playing overwatch if you want to join" Taehyung beamed while Alex came in fully and placed the trousers on a dresser that was next to the door "I'm guessing they didn't fit?" Jungkook asked making Alex nod "Also Jin-hyung wanted you by the way, he said it was important, he said to go to his room" Hoseok said with a smile only gaining a whine from Taehyung "But I wanted him to play with us!" Tae complained as he paused the game "We can all play after dinner pabo" Jungkook said giving his hyung a 'You are an idiot' look making the youngest (Remember Alex is only 19 so he is the youngest) in the room giggle slightly "Ok off you go Alex" Hoseok beamed at him before Alex nodded and ran off to find Jin. Once he had located where Jin's room is Alex entered the tidy room which had two beds, one covered in random plushies with black and blue bed sheets and the other had a few Mario plushies but pink and blue bed sheets, while looking around Alex noticed a picture in a black wooden frame so he picked it up and giggle at the scene that had happened probably during their time of being trainees. Jin was trying to take a nice picture but the others were being the kids they were and were doing silly poses but the picture also had a familiar feeling and it had a familiar boy standing next to Jungkook but the boy looked about 6 years younger then Jungkook (So the boy was around 9 and Kookie was around 15! and why do I keep making it so Alex was friends with Bangtan but he somehow forgot them? I don't know), while staring at the picture he didn't hear the person behind him walking towards him "What are you doing?" someone said making the boy flinch and squeal before falling onto the floor and going into a small ball while holding the picture to his chest "p-p-please don't take the photo, don't h-hurt m-me" Alex spoke a full sentence without realising it. "Why would I hurt you? And why can't I take the picture?" a gentle yet deep voice said while the person rubbed small circles on the boy's back "A-appa hurt, Eomma hurt, family hurt. My real friends lost. Me went missing (Just so ya'll know when I get flashbacks or something like it I speak in random sentences or just a few words which don't always make sense so I'm just doing it how I would have it even if he's mute he has times where he doesn't realise he's speaking)" Alex said and Jin was trying to figure out what Alex was talking about since it was kinda sounding like nonsense (I mean what do you expect from a kid who hasn't spoken in years and who has a bunch of trauma). "Shh calm down, it's ok" Jin comforted the boy who was slightly shaking "Uhh Did I come in at a bad time?" The voice of Jimin said as he entered the room "Can you come here? You might be able to make sense of what he's saying" Jin asked with a lot of worry in his voice making Jimin nod before walking over to the two and sat down while Jin repeated what the boy had said and mentioned the picture that was still being held tight against Alex's chest. "I think he's talking about his family hurting him, remember when he had mentioned why he was living in that place? And I don't think he told us the whole story, I have a feeling why he isn't giving the picture back but I'll need to explain to the others as well but for now I'll just tell you" Jimin said as he patted Alex's head "Is it ok if I hold the picture? Or do you want to sit here and then you can show Jin-hyung the picture when I need to show him?" he spoke again and pointed to the space in front of him making Alex quickly crawl to the older male and sat in front of him. "So basically when he said he went missing, I think his family stopped him leaving the house or he meant the time he was kicked out. But with the real friends part..." Jimin trailed off as he motioned for Alex to show the picture which he did and that's what made Jin realise what he was talking about, "I mean he stopped visiting after he turned 10 but I thought it was just because we were busy" Jin sighed as he looked at a confused looking Alex. (I have hiccups while writing this part) "Mhm, We'll tell the others later but I already know you needed to talk to him so do you want me to leave?" Jimin asked only for Jin to shake his head "He seemed a bit calmer when you came in here so please stay (legit the only reason he became calm was because he was looking at the picture and it's Jimin, the soft lil mochi)" Jin smiled at the younger male who just nodded slightly while Alex just continued looking at the picture "So, were you aware that you were talking?" Jin asked gently only earning a small shake of the head from Alex "Ok then, do you remember who we are? as in other then being BTS?" Jin asked again but again Alex shook his head but this time he hesitated at first "Well I hope you will soon" Jin said while standing up "Come on let's go cook some food for the others" Jin smiled at the two who stood up "Also can you put the picture back? I could give you a plushie to hold instead since I noticed you like cuddling things" Jimin said while grabbing a purple cat plushie (Which I shall name Tony, if you know the song reference, you are my bestie, plus I need to give him a name! He's popped up twice now, hehe Twice. But wait didn't he have the teddy bear tho? Poor Mr Bangtan). Once Alex put the picture back with a lot of hesitating, he quickly ran to Jimin who handed the plushie over to the boy who quickly held it to his chest "Come on" Jin smiled as the two followed him out the door and they all made their way to the kitchen. After making the food and placing a bunch of plates filled with different foods, Jin called the others down and in not even a minute the others were now sitting around the table waiting for Jin and Alex to sit down. "Oh no! I forgot we don't have any spare chairs, um I don't know where you can sit" Namjoon said as he looked at a confused looking Alex who then suddenly just sat on the ground next to Jimin's seat (If ya'll think this is the ship for this oneshot, you are so wrong) with a small glass of apple juice in hand "Are you seriously sitting on the floor? Why don't I get the spare chair I have in my office?" Yoongi said as he got up before running to his office and came back five minutes later carrying a chair "Here, now grab a plate and eat" Yoongi said after placing the chair down next to him and sat down. "So we've talked about where you can sleep and we thought that you can share a room with Riya and Hoseok-hyung (The roommates are completely random apart from these two so don't ask) since they have an extra bed in their room" RM explained as he watched Alex sit down next to Yoongi (I enjoy confusing ya'll with the ships I add in my stories) "Yay! I get the new bean" a beautiful looking girl cheered (Aka my amazing Noona) "Well then you two can show him where he'll be sleeping after we've finished" Jin smiled as he looked at the two who were non-stop smiling. After everyone had finished eating and went to do their own thing, Hoseok and Riya were now leading Alex to their room which was on the second floor of the building "Welcome to your new room! the bathroom is there and opposite our bed is the walk-in closet" Hoseok beamed as they all entered the room which had one king sized bed and a queen sized bed (Legit this room is the only one with two bed while the rest has three or just the one for the introverts, I'm looking at you two Yoongi-hyung and Lucas-hyung). "You can decorate your part of the room however you like and don't worry you'll get as much privacy as you need ok?" Riya smiled as she put a hand on the younger males shoulder before belly flopping onto her's and Hobi's shared bed "So do you have any questions? Oh wait I almost forgot you don't talk" Hobi gave the boy an apologetic smile which made him giggle slightly. "Did I just hear an angel's laugh? Because that was adorable" a voice from the doorway said "Oh hey Tae! Well if you count this little shorty as an angel then yes you did" Riya cooed as she sat up properly "Aw!! Well I just came to say that hyung is asking you to help with something" Taehyung said as he looked at Hobi who nodded before leaving the room with Tae. "So now that those two are gone I can ask you something that I wanted to since I heard you were here" The older female said as she dragged Alex down on the bed next to her making the boy scared and worried "Who's your bias? (We all know I'm OT7)" Riya asked as she gave the boy a piece of paper and a pen so he could write down his answer "It's-" but before Riya could read the name the door burst open (Ya'll really thought I was about to say the ship). "Alright bed time! Also Alex, Namjoon asked me to give you this key for the studio and then one for the practice room" J-hope said as he entered the room while closing the door behind him "He said you can go any time you'd like" he added while placing a key chain with two silver keys on it, on a bed side table that was next to the queen sized bed "Good night" Riya sighed as she got into bed with Hoseok who happily wrapped his arms around her. After a few hours of just laying on the huge bed Alex got up and managed to sneak out the room without waking the couple up, it was nice and peaceful through the house with everyone sleeping in their rooms and the slight snoring coming from two of the rooms (Aka Namjoonie-hyung's and Stevie-noona's rooms). While walking through the halls Alex started to hum the tune of 'Spring day', soon he stopped outside a door which had 'M-R' on it so Alex opened the door to see a bunch of instruments laying around the room making him smile a little before closing the door and walking over to the grand piano that was in the very far corner 'Hmm might as well since none of their rooms are on this floor or the floor above' Alex thought to himself before sitting down on the velvet cushioned bench and placing his small hands on the keys before gently pressing different ones to recreate the tune of 'Life Goes On'.
