Heavy rain falls right outside the working studio of Kimhan. He focuses hard to make something up but creativity doesn't strike him yet. He watches some people running shielding their heads with their hands due to the pouring rain. Some colorful umbrellas here and there. Few vehicles pass each minute. Still no inspiration.
From the corner of his eyes, he then notices a guy who lives next door, dancing in the rain, without any care in the world. The boy seems to be happy and enjoying the rain. The next-door neighbor’s laughter travels up to inside the walls of the studio room. Kimhan hears him sing a random song and sway his body to the rhythm of the rain droplets.
As Kimhan is so fascinated by the boy that his hands unconsciously start to paint him.
Kimhan knew his name is Namcha, and is aware of the age difference between them but he never cared what he look like. He gets to know many things as he focuses on his neighbor’s face. There is something about the boy’s face that makes Kimhan want to draw him perfectly. Namcha who until now was laughing starts to tear up and cry out loud. Namcha sits down in the muddy garden and continues to empty his heart. After a while, he lies down in the grass and lets the rain wash all his worries away.
Kimhan seems to get out of the trance and sees in front of him. He couldn’t believe that he just painted the most beautiful, alluring, and ethereal painting ever. The raw emotions that he saw in Namcha are portrayed much more accurately than in his previous works. He used to think that he is a good enough painter but he is not sure now. Namcha seems to bring the hidden passion of the painter that Kimhan didn’t know existed. Looks like Kimhan found his inspiration after all. He is beyond shocked but he embraces this fact rather quickly.
The next morning Namcha finds a wrapped box in front of his house. He opens the box and finds the exact painting of him soaking in the rain. He feels so many emotions seeing himself portrayed by another person. The note slips off the box which states, "I don't know what you are going through, just know it's temporary. You will be okay."
From that day onwards Namcha and Kimhan were friends having an extraordinary friendship.
