The boss didn't saythat the Uchiha boy should be brought alive. What a waste. The men said, the deep voice indicated if he was older than him.

Sasuke saw with hiswide eyes when a sword was materialized on his opponent's hand and in a second it lunged directly towards his heart.

It was a faint poof that made Sasuke's eyes blink. Realization hit him like a slap. The spring scent -flowers, green leaves, rain and forest- came to his sense. The calming white Ensō insignia came to his view. And the strand of pink locks blurred his vision. A strong yell of shannaro swallowed the agony of a sword that stabbed pass a body.

Impaled deep in Sakurs's abdomen was a sword that supposed to be charge his heart. His female teammate staggered to keep the sword in place by holding it with her left hand, the edge of the sword nearly touched Sasuke's heart.

The blood dripped on it's peak. The air sucked harshly from Sasuke's lungs. It felt so surreal. His eyes captured it all, but his brain froze.

It was Sakura who pushed the culprit to the edge of the cliff. Her kunai stabbed deeply to the men's neck, but it won't guarantee his dead. So, his female teammate pushed harder, wasn't minding the stab that getting deeper. She intended to push the men away from Sasuke to make him released the jutsu.

It was his own scream that made him run like a mad man when his eyes -bloody eyes swirled to life- captured every second and every scene of Sakura's body fallen free to the cliff along with the supposed to be his killer.

It was kawarimi. Sakura's body that he saw laid unmoving on the floor was kawarimi. Her real body was falling to the abyss in front of his eyes. Sasuke didn't think. He jumped. He thought it was the roaring of waves that blocked his ears from reality, but it wasn't. It was Naruto's. His demonic chakra burst violently to the air challenging the ocean breeze, along with the dark of the night that glowed in orange.

It was quiet, once the wind blew his strand away from his face, he didn't feel it. He didn't feel the cold of the moving surface on his face. It should be stung like a slap, but it came none. He didn't care. He dove. Deeper.

It was the moon or might be her own hair that made her form glowed in the darkness. He didn't know. He didn't care. She was trying to reach the surface by dove higher, her hand was stretching upward, trying to grab the real world above the water. He reached her. His calloused hand was reaching her.

Once he felt her fingers brushed his, he yanked her wrist and hold her waist tight to his body. He couldn't stop himself from searching that green-eyes of her. But he realized it was too dark and quiet. He need to get them out.

It was his heart that raced too fast. He was running on the water surface with his chakra control on his feet towards the shore. He felt her breath. But too faint. He didn't have a time to make sure, he needed to get to the shore as fast as he could and found medic.

It should be cold -damn even he was shivering- but a warm was seeping to his clothes. He realized it was blood. Sakura's blood.
