Max--
Disaster. Hate. Pain. This is all I'm feeling. "You draw the line." Miranda teleported behind Nisha and finished her off by slicing her head off. "Stay down!" She yelled. I was panicking. I lifted Alfina up and walked towards Hanna.
"However you came to the past...use that to bring her back..." I sobbed. "Its not my ability..its yours. After defeating Nisha your sadness and rage all combined to become a new ability, fusing with your teleportation ability...time travel." No wonder I felt stronger after Nisha died. "But there are rules to this Max..you can't go back in time for five minutes ago. There can't be two of you in one time zone. Your best bet is to go back in time and go to her father...he did care for her once...but that was before I was kidnapped." I nodded. I looked back to see everyone standing side by side. "Me, Nero, Wilfred, Miranda, Desmond, and Edmund will go back. This was the original group anyways. So we will go as that group.
"Goodluck. In order to time travel you must say the coordinates, and the persons current condition. Don't worry...you won't see me or Alfina's younger self at his work." I nodded. "Professor Gullowing's house...Alive." a portal appeared and I saw him sitting down. "Thank you Hanna. You need to travel back to your time too." "A portal will open eventually." she smiled and waved us good bye. "Desmond." I said as another portal opened. I saw Desmond jump through. "Did you win?" We didn't answer because he saw Alfina.
"No...why her." he said falling down to his knees. "Desmond nows not the time..we are going to bring her back to us don't worry. Just stay with us. Lets jump in.." I said. I jumped in, almost losing my balance while landing. Miranda came through but then when I look back on the other side of the portal, they jumped but didn't appear on our side. "Oh no. The travel messed up. They could be anywhere here on Miltia." I said to Miranda.
"They can manage on their own. Worry about her." she said nudging me to the professor. "I'm not taking any visitors today." "Sorry but we need your help professor." I said. He looked back at us to see his eyes widened at the sight of Alfina. "What do you want me to do about it?" He asked. I looked back at Miranda. "If this is really her father then I'm about to push his limits. Look Professor. You have the capability of making an android the Hilbert effect and maybe the cure for the black scrawl."
"How do you know all of my research!" He demanded. I sighed. "Look...Sigil Stone Cave..." and a portal opened up. "Instead of explaining I'll show you." I said as I walked in. he followed behind and saw his body at the entrance.
"Where are we? Is that m-me!" "Professor, my friend and I are from this timeline...the future to you." He looked at the etchings of the cave. "This was in a book I read about once. The stone is not to be used by anyone...the secrets it holds are not to be known."
"That's not the reason why I brought you here. You can make androids...i need you to bring Alfina "back. Your daughter." He stopped and looked at me. "Very well..follow me to my lab." he said walking back through the portal. When we were back at the house I saw he opened up a secret set of stairs.
"I have the parts to...bring her back but she needs some of her memory...but not all. Her memories will be restored in time. Please..lay her down there." I did what he said and put her down on the table. I hope this works. The machine above the table started to move and got closer to her. "Put the necessary parts on the table to begin installation." the computer said.
I saw him put the parts in a container as the machine started grabbing them and attaching them. An arm of the machine came in front of me. "Insert memory essence." I drew out a ball of fire and the machine started to siphon it.
"Memory bowels installed. Proceeding with internal surgery." it said. I looked away as it opened her up. "Helloooooo" a voice came from upstairs. "Was that Desmond?" Miranda said going towards the stairs. "Desmond we're down here!" She yelled.
I heard footsteps as he was coming down the stairs. When he appeared at the last step, his eyes widened at the surgery.
"Oh my god I think I'm gonna be sick.." he said. "Surgery is complete. Proceeding to the Nano stimulator module protocol." I guess that means that the surgery is done. "Desmond have you gotten any radio communication from the others?"
"No. Not after we traveled through the portal." I heard glass break from upstairs. "Someone's breaking in.""I'll go see",Miranda said. She ran upstairs. Desmond followed along too.
I was about to go with them until the professor stopped me. "Max....look..." I look back at Alfina to see her laying down eyes closed. I started hearing a beeping sound at a constant rate. The heart monitor.
"Alfina?" Her eyes opened.
