Safara up top.
Max--
"Nisha! I can't believe that you're actually here! But I don't understand...Nero he.." I paused remembering what happened. "I know what he has done but I am alive...I never died, I went into my slumber to regain my strength." She explained. This makes no sense. I saw her burn alive by Nero's flame. How would she survive that. "Wait, you mentioned something about returning home?" I asked. "You need to return back home. To give me my strength back. I need you and Miranda to return back home. To Lost Jerusalem. Earth." I looked at her shockingly. "Nisha, you must understand. Its called Lost Jerusalem for a reason! It's been missing for millions of centuries. No one knows where it went." I said. "That's why I will give you the power to make a portal to travel to places that have never been visited before. You just need to say your destination." She said. "But I can't give it to you right now. Your friends need you." That's all she said before disappearing into the white. I opened my eyes to see myself on the ground. I got up to see that I was alone in the woods. I then remembered when the destroyer landed. Where am I? I got up to feel my self get light headed. "Jeez? I hope everyone is alright." I said out loud. I tried morphing into my phoenix but it wasn't working. I decided to ignore it and started walking.
I have been walking for hours and the sun already went down. I started recognizing the forest some more. The U-TIC soldiers were lying on the ground, dead. I started picking up my pace to the village because I didn't see any remnants of the destroyer anywhere. I started to see lights coming from the village. i emerged to see that the whole village was on fire. I looked towards the house to see Wilfred and Nero protecting it from the destroyer that did this destruction. I ran towards them to see that the destroyer noticed me and started firing. How was I supposed to dodge all those bullets. I felt Wilfred grab me and teleported me back to the house. "Max! You're awake! The others went to the sanctuary. We couldn't allow the destroyer to follow us there." He informed. "Wait, a sanctuary? What's that?." I asked stressfully. "I'll explain later. Right now we have the Destroyer to deal with." He said. After that he went out to help Nero fend off the machine. I looked outside to see the destroyer trying to smack Nero out of the air but Nero was too fast. I needed to help but for some odd reason. I Can't change to flight form. I can't use any fire. Nothing is working. "Max!" I heard Miranda coming through the back door. "Miranda! It's good to see you too." I said almost falling down while going towards her. "Max, what happened to you? You passed out and we were almost killed. It was hard to hide your body with all of the commotion going on." she said. "We were really worried about you. What happened to you that made you do that?" I was clueless myself. "I don't know really...but Miranda, our mother is still alive!" I said. Her eyes widened. "You're joking right?! She is alive!" She asked. I nodded. "she is at lost Jerusalem though. First we need to destroy this machine." I looked out to see them still fighting. "Look!" Miranda said. I looked past them to see phase beams start shooting down on the machine. The destroyer notice and dodge some but took some hits as well. Another A.M.W.S. unit came down from the sky and shot a phase transfer cannon obliterating the Destroyer.
"You broke some of its circuits, causing it to loose control of itself. You're welcome. Be glad I was in the vicinity. We will meet again. Goodbye for now. Max..." she said before taking off. That was strange, she knew my name. "Let's go to the sanctuary. We can figure out why my powers aren't working then. We were walking into the woods still trying to morph but it wasn't working. We made it to the sanctuary to see Alfina run to me. "Max you're okay! Max my powers aren't working for some odd reason." I nodded and said,"Mine aren't working either but maybe the elder can give me my powers back. All of a sudden the whole place went white again but this time Alfina, Nero,Wilfred, and Miranda were still moving and saw everything that I was seeing. "It's time Max." Nisha said reappearing in front of me again. "She is alive!" Miranda gasped. Nisha put her hand out and I felt a wave of energy come to me. I felt warm again and I could use my powers again. "just say your destination and the portal will respond." she then disappeared and returned back to the sanctuary. I looked around to see Alfina just looking at me and then nodded. "Alright! Everyone ready to go to Lost Jerusalem?" Everyone nodded. "Good. Desmond, Momo, Coco I need you to stay here. I'll open a portal to you if we need your help." They nodded. "Good luck." Desmond said. "Lost Jerusalem!" I yelled before a portal appeared in front of me. "Lets go!" I said before jumping in along with the others.Miranda--
I can't believe it. Elder was alive this whole time. It took us a few seconds until we teleported out to Lost Jerusalem. There are so many plants here but that was almost it. Off in the distance I could see our village on a rocky flat mountain. Our village was mostly made out of stone. It would be hard to see but now there's more green outlining the buildings. Once we find Elder we could make the place nice again. We started walking amongst the broken down buildings that were starting to scare me. "Max...remember why this place vanished? They could be lurking around to attack us any minute now." I looked to Max who was still walking ignoring my question. we were getting close to the gate that leads to our village. "Ready?" Max asked. We held up our hands to see that the four crystals lit up, opening the gate. We entered the village to see that the Elder's house was spewing smoke out the chimney. I ran to the house hoping to see her. The door opened before I got to the house. All I saw was black. All of a sudden something darted out and hit me in the stomach making me fall down. "Miranda!!" Max yelled. I saw red. I couldn't move from the pain on my stomach. "Poor, poor Miranda...where did your energy go? Used it all up on Nero when you fought him?" A voice said evilly. I look up to see it was Sasha...in shade form! "I can't wait to kill you on my second try!" She then morphed her fist into a spike and charged it to me. "No!" I heard Alfina scream. I was waiting for the pain but it never came. I look up to see that her hand has been caught by Edmund. "Go! Go back to Max! I can take it from here." he said. It took all of my strength to get up and walk halfway to Max before I got support by Nero.
"Well, well, well if it isn't Edmund. Come back from the dead to become part of my army?!" She sent red flows at Edmund making him get down in pain. "Touching me made you a part of my rebels!" My eyes widened at that. "Edmund!" I heard Alfina as I saw her run towards him. Edmund got up, his yellow turning to orange then red then back to yellow again. We just got Edmund back...we can't loose him again. Akfina made contact with him, all of a sudden a burst of blue flames launched us all backwards. I looked up to see that Edmund didn't have yellow or red on him. Instead it was blue! Alfina touching him may have transferred some of Max's energy to him.
"Whoa, Alfina! You made him immune to the Scarlet Curse!" Wilfred said. I looked at him in disbelief. "Did you just made up that curse?" I said amusingly. He nodded. "No matter. I will just summon up the shades I already have manipulated." The rebels appeared out of the ground and shadows, surrounding us. "Alfina! Try doing the same thing to them!" I yelled. She didn't move. I realized there were rebels charging towards her. "No!" I said. I ran too her knowing I'm not going to make it. "Alfina move!" I yelled. Safara appeared out of no where and saved her in time. She then howled making all of us look at her. "This needs to end." Safara said. I look around to see vines start popping out of the ground destroying or pinning most of the rebels.
The forces of nature are with us! "Miranda! Sasha is retreating back into the Elder's hut!" I heard Wilfred through the fighting. Safara came up to me and saw that I was bleeding. "Here let me help you." She then bit into my arm. I was waiting for the pain but instead I felt relaxed. She let go and saw that the wound was all healed. "Thank you Safara." She nodded then ran to help out with the fight. We got closer to the house, hoping to find our mother. "Wilfred, Nero, Safara please stay here and guard the entrance. We will go after Sasha and put her out of her misery." They nodded and turned towards the rebels. We headed inside, torches magically lighting themselves when we get close. "C'mon, there's a hidden entrance this way." I said. We made it to a dead end. I looked at the torch and turned it from orange to red. The wall then opened up and turned into a pathway making stairs go down into the basement. We kept going down the stairs, I forgot how far down they go. A few moments later we made it to the bottom to see a flower closed up at the end of a room. "That's one big flower! What made it grow so big?" Alfina asked. I looked around to see the computer console and ran to it. "We have to open the flower by using our phoenix essence. Get ready Max...this is going to hurt." I said pulling a needle from the machine and stabbed it into his arm. The gauge started filling up and then it was my turn. "You just went into my trap you imbeciles." I heard Sasha as she came down from the corner in the ceiling. "Now it's time for my revenge!"
