Saying "Farewell" to the Old

When they pass Hero and Kel's house, almost all of the family is waving goodbye. Sunny can't help but feel warmed by it, so he decides to wave back. When they drive by the park Sunny sees Aubrey's gang, the Hooligans, and he waves to Aubrey. She smiles slightly, they might not be on the best terms, after the truth came out, but they're still friends nonetheless. The park is so close to Basil's house, that they're already there. The car stops, even though Sunny's mom didn't like the idea of stopping to say goodbye to Basil, Sunny insisted that Basil had said that he had a parting gift. This, for god knows what reason, convinced his mom to stop to say goodbye.

Basil did indeed have a parting gift, it was a Lily of the Valley. Basil had always been reminded of Mari, when he saw them. "Please take good care of it, Sunny. Take good care of yourself too." Basil had thought about what to say, for when Sunny left most of his time in the hospital, which wasn't that long, but it still felt as if it was an eternity. In the end he chose something simple, that still got his point across; don't lock yourself up for 4 years again, and for gods sake eat something nutritional, you are extremely malnutritioned. The reason he didn't just say that directly to him was that he thought it sounded rude. 

"Sunny! We have to go now!" His mother called him. "I've got to go now Basil. Bye." Sunny is not an easy person to read, but the two of them had known each other for a very long time now, so Basil was pretty sure he was both excited , but also extremely nervous. He was moving to a different country. "Alright, I hope I'll see you someday!" Basil answered his dear friend.

Sunny went into the car, and waved goodbye. He also hoped to see Faraway again someday.

They're just about to pass the town borders, and out of the car window Sunny says his final goodbye to Faraway Town. Well he doesn't actually say it, it's like metaphorical..

"Mom, will we ever visit Faraway?" he asked, to which he didn't recieve an answer. Since he wasn't up for one of his mom's emotionally driven rants, about how the town had done nothing good for them ever, he decided not to ask again.

Sorry for the long wait! I really haven't been able to get myself to write much on this. I've had neither time nor mental capacity to worry about updating my fic.

But after this chapter I will start trying to update my fic more regularly, untill I find a scedule that's neither 6 months apart nor daily.
