Chapter 30 Lunch

Your POV

We had to have an early christmas party that night since I would be in New York for a while. I enjoyed what they got me but I did say they didn't have too. I was having lunch with Rhody and Stark. We were picking on Rhody. There's someone that's been terrorizing the world and killing a lot of people called The Mandarin but Death Gun is worse. Wait... Could this be Death Gun!?!?  Xaxa.... Who are you in real life... "So Y/n good job beating Death Gun! He sure did piss you off huh?" Rhody asked. "Big time" I spoke. "Why did he?" Stark asked. "Because he is living in the pass. He's thinks he's still a member of the laughing coffin guild and he's trying to bring it back but I'm going to put a stop to him." I spoke taking a drink of F/d(Favorite Drink). "No need to get so serious" Rhody spoke smiling. "He pissed me off during the tournament. I'll do whatever it takes no one can stop me" "So "It tested well with focus groups, all right?" Rhody spoke. "I am Iron Patriot! It sucks" Stark spoke. "I liked War Machine better" I spoke then ate a tomato. "Listen. War Machine was too aggressive alright? This sends a better message" Rhody spoke. "So, what's really going on? With the Mandarin?" Stark asked. "Seriously can we talk about this guy?" Stark asked. "Hello again loser" I heard a voice. The demon was talking to me? But how!? "You are the only one who can hear me since i'm in your head but one day I will kill you once I leave this body. Once your will is at its lowest that is when I will take my leave" She spoke. "Not if I have anything to say about it" I spoke making Stark and Rhodey stop talking and look at me. "What?" Stark asked. "I was talking to her she somehow talked to me in my head. The demon" I explained. "Oh" They spoke in Unison. "Do you two mind signing my drawings?" A girl asked coming up to us with a small boy. "If that's fine with Richard over here" Stark spoke. "Yeah can they?" I asked. "Nope" Rhodey spoke teasingly. I then summoned lightning and sent a bit at him shocking him as Stark laughs. "Don't worry when me or the team mess with her we get a even bigger shock" Stark spoke still laughing then grabbed a crayon. "Yeah it's fine with me" Rhodey spoke. "What's your name?" I asked. "Erin" She spoke. "Age?" I asked. "12" She spoke. "Hm guess what. That's 2 years younger then me" I spoke then wrote my name next to my drawing of me in my suit holding my swords as blue surrounded me which was probably the fire. "This is pretty good" I spoke. "Thanks, I have a question? When did you get your powers?" She asked. "From my dad before he invented SAO then trapped 10,000 people in it including me" I spoke. "Then you beat him right?" She asked excited. "Mhm. We started gathering people who would fight into guilds and certain people went on the front lines though in the final battle I got to be the one to free everyone" I spoke then SAO memories flooded into my head of the time when we ambushed the Laughing Coffin guild and we started fighting then scenes of me killing 7 different members of the guild played in my head. "Y.... Y/...... Y/N!!" I heard a shout and noticed I was outside kneeling now and saw Stark was kneeling down. "Sorry we gotta split" Stark spoke then I summon wind and flew off as Stark flew off. 

Time skip, your POV

We were at home now. Stark told me that Jarvis said we both had a major anxiety attack. He then asked me what it was about. "Don't worry about it. It isn't your business" I spoke. Whoa, what did I just say? Why am I suddenly so hostile?  "Calm down or you'll pass out. I'm gonna go get you some oolong tea just sit back and relax alright? I won't force you to tell me what's wrong since it sounds pretty serious. So I'll be back with a cup of oolong tea" Stark explained. His phone rang and it was Happy! He was our body guard until he became head of security for Pepper.  A few minutes later he came back with a hot steaming cup of oolong tea and a bottle of beer but his phone was gone. He handed me my cup of tea. "More calm now?" He asked. "A little..." I spoke still a little annoyed. "What's your problem?" Stark asked. I took sip of my tea glanced at him before saying. "Still private" I spoke then took another sip. Stark sighed. "Kid c'mon. Stop acting all solo-player. You aren't a solo player anymore. Your apart of a team. You need to open up to us" Stark spoke. "Funny. Asuna said the same thing about stop acting all solo player and trust your team a little more this isn't virtual reality its real life" I explained. "Well she's a good parent" Stark spoke. "Adopted don't forget that" I spoke taking another sip. "Fine I'll tell you" I spoke. "When I was stuck in SAO with Death Gun and 10,000 other players Death Gun and I fought before. Back then he was a red player in this guild. They called themselves Laughing Coffin. P killers. They had to be stopped. So one day a party was formed to catch them and haul them off to prison. I was in that party. Along with a few of my friends. Agil, Klein, Kirito and Asuna." I explained then let out a scared sigh. "They found out about our plans and then they ambushed us and in the middle of the chaos she managed to take over and I killed 7 of laughing coffin. I just.. Cut them down. And over time I managed to force myself to forget what I did until a few weeks ago. When I ran into the guy calling himself Death Gun." I spoke. "You don't have to continue" Stark spoke trying to calm me down. "It's fine." I spoke. "And are you sure he was with laughing coffin that day? A part of that ambush?" Stark asked. "I'm sure. And as sure as I'll ever be. He's one of the players we took to prison that day. That's why. For a while I used to be even worse because I couldn't even remember his name but there was a reason for it.. I didn't even want to know it because I told him I'd never see him again. I don't remember how long she was in control but when she was in control 7 laughing coffin members died and I could've stopped it" I explained. "Kid..." Stark spoke sadly. "That's my backstory. To add it up let's start from the beginning. I was one of the 1,000 beta testers. I still remember everything that happened, every day trapped in that Death Game. The first day Sao was released was when I met Klein he was a total noob. We retreated to an alleyway after my father explained what he did, trapping us all there and stuff. He even made it to where we had our exact weight and body height. We could all see our real faces in the game too. Anyway Klein, Kirito and I retreated to an alleyway. We came up with a plan to go to the next town so we would have more available quests and begged Klein to come with us but he refused because he had other friends to look after so we split up and Kirito and I went to the next town." I explained

Time skip, your POV

I explained everything and Stark was shocked. I mean everything that happened in SAO. "That's a lot kid. Are you even able to handle all of it?" Stark asked. "Not really..." I spoke. "You should get a therapist. They could help. I'll have this Aki person be yours since she sounds reliable." Stark spoke. "If it means I'll start being able to deal with this stuff then sign me up" I spoke. I checked the time and it was getting late then realized that i'm... Starving... I finished my 8th cup of Oolong tea then set it down. "Hey, uh... Stark... Can you make some food?" I asked. "Sure what do you want? We have Chefs you know" Stark spoke. "Chefs?" I asked. "They will make anything the master or a family member of the master as long as they get paid their paycheck which I do" Stark explained. "F/f?" It was more of a question considering I didn't know if the chef knew how to make it...... 

Time skip, your POV

It took a half an hour for the chef to make F/f but when I started eating it. It taste just as good as in Tokyo. I was almost finished with my food when Stark started shouting from downstairs. What is happening now? I didn't even want to know. I was still wearing my cloak of elements and had my swords in their scabbards resting on my back. 

Time skip, your POV

I was having a nightmare. I was in Stark and Pepper's room. I stood there just staring at them before smirking and I take out one of my swords slowly lightning up in blue flames. I was about to strike Pepper when she opened her eyes screaming. "Y/n!" She shouted then I gasped using my free hand to hold my arm back with the sword. Struggling I dropped the sword and fell to my knees not able to comprehend what I almost did. So it wasn't a nightmare.. She seriously took over and I didn't realize it. "What was that!?" Stark shouted. "She almost killed me!" Pepper shouted. "I-It wasn't..." I started but couldn't even speak. I was still lit up in Blue Flames. "I-It was. Her..." I spoke. I held my hands in front of me terrified. I then grabbed my sword and teleported to my room locking it too scared to even sleep.
