chapter 9 ~ "a fresh start"

i wake up in a comfy bed. i don't think i've ever been on this bed before.

i sit up and look around.

where was i?

"good morning! we're in a monstadt reservation home!"

i look over and see kazuha.

"hello kazuha! why are we here again?"

he sweats some.

"to just get a break and enjoy the breeziest place in teyvat, of course!"

i smile.

"thanks for taking me on a trip!"

he smiles.

"you're welcome. let's make this trip a very enjoyable experience for the both of us. would you like to go to good hunter? it's lunch time. you slept pretty late"

i nod rapidly and i hop up.

"i'll let you get ready, then. do meet me in the living room once you're ready to go!"

i close the door behind him and start changing.

i put on f/t (favorite/top) and f/b (favorite/bottoms).

i do a twirl in the mirror and brush out my hair and style it how i want (or just leave it be up to you)

i open the door and close it behind me, walking to the living room where kazuha sat lost in his thoughts.

"you good? i'm ready to go!"

he looks up and smiles with a faint blush.

"you look great, love. let's go get you some food"

kazuha pov;

'please don't call for help while we're out if you remember anything from earlier'

y/n pov;

we arrive at hood hunter and kazuha holds my hand at the counter as he orders for the two.

"and for your lady?"
sara asks.

kazuha eyes me,

"what would you like, dear"

"just f/c (food/choice)"

he nods

"one f/c, please."

sara tells us our total and kazuha pays.

"choose where to sit, love"

i choose a table not too far from the counter view and i reach into my pockets to just place my hands somewhere.

i felt something in my pocket.

i feel at it some and realize it's a leaf.

i pull it out and tell kazuha to close his eyes.

i place the leaf in his hands and tell him to open.

he smiles.

"where'd you get this, love?"

i smile back.

"it was in my pocket so i supposed since you love leafs, id give it to you!"

"thank you"

"you're welcome, kazuha"

"order for kaedahara kazuha ready"

kazuha stands up

"i'll be back"

he goes up and gets our plates containing our food and returns.

"here you are. eat up!"

we dig into our food and i see my old friend amber.

"kazuha, i'll be back! i'm gonna go say hi to amber!"

he nods and keeps a close eye on me

i sneak up behind amber and yell

"boo!"

she jumps and laughs.

"hey, y/n! it's been so long! how are you?"

she smiles.

"i'm good! kazuha took me to visit minstadt as a trip!"

we have a good conversation until i decide to go back to kazuha.

"hey, babe!"

he stands up.

"ready to go?"

"yep! let's get back home. unless you want to go somewhere else first!"
i say.

he hmms.

"i don't think i need to make any stops. unless you need or want to go somewhere, let's go home!"

i deny needing or wanting anything so we go home.

he unlocks the door and opens it for me and closes it behind him with a 'click' from the lock.

"it's still daytime. are you sure you don't want to go out and play in the sun?"

he suggests.

"nope! the food made me kinda sleepy. i'll take a nap instead."
i reply.

"alright then. call me if you need me. i'm gonna tidy things up"
