After lunch, I waved goodbye to the girls, who all disappeared to their offices on different floors. It was just me and Taehyung left on the elevator; I gave him a side glance and then slowly moved away from him.

Again silence rang through the elevator; only the sound of the elevator music could be heard in the background. I felt the air in the room grow thicker and thicker. I slid away from him until we were on opposite sides of the elevator.

I turned to him, and he gave me a side glance.

"I can sense you're uncomfortable, Ms. Choi," He spoke.

"Uh...yes, Sir, you make me a little uncomfortable," I said, looking at him. He smiled at me, the feeling of authority and power returned.

He leaned in my ear as he spoke. "There isn't a need to be uncomfortable around me. It's not like I'm going to harm you." he said.

"Not yet anyway."

I looked at him, confused. I started laughing, thinking that the last part he said was a joke to break the heavy tension in the elevator. But then he stops looking up and moves to the side as the doors slide open.

"That was a good one, Sir."

He quipped an eyebrow at me. "I wasn't joking. Ms. Choi" that was the last thing he said to me before the elevator doors closed.

I clenched at my best as my heart was beating like crazy. I turned and quickly walked back to my office. As I walked back to my office, my phone buzzed, and my lips curved into a smile at the Caller ID.

"Holá mamí"

"Holá mi muñeca, how's everything going?" I opened my laptop and got back to work while on the phone with my mom.

"Everything's fine, mamí. How are you and Dad doing?" I asked.

"I am alright, sweetheart; you know how your father is always working." Mom answered.

"How's Santiago doing?" I asked

"He's fine; he has been asking about you for two weeks, saying you will be home again," Mom explained.

"Well, let him know I'll be home for his graduation." I said with a smile.

I heard dad's voice in the background.

"Hello, gongjunim," Dad chimed in.

"Ah Appa, mianhae! I miss you so much" I chirped happily.
