Vladimira's P.O.V

The disgust and shame I should have been feeling hit me full force whenever I drove back onto my father's territory.

It made me overlook the fact that I actually enjoyed myself last night.

I had slept with my father's enemy and if my father ever finds out, he'll probably banish me from the pack.

He'll banish me for ruining his name, his title of Alpha King. I'll ruin my title of Luna Queen.

'You're just comprehending that?' Greer growls angrily. I roll my eyes.

'Is that all you do? Judge me? Can't you be there for my emotional support just once?' I ask as tears form in my eyes.

My wolf doesn't answer, instead, she buries herself in the tiny crevices of my brain.

I need Lilliana, my best friend. I trust her with this kind of information, even if she tells my father out of pure guilt.

Lilliana also just happens to be Jared's daughter, so I'm taking a double risk by telling her.

As I pull up at my father and I's house, I see Jared's car, which means Lilliana is probably here!

I slowly get out of my car after collecting my emotions and thoughts and drag my feet to the door of the house.

The intimidating size of my house makes me even more afraid of the monster my father will assume.

My father's tall figure is in front of me immediately when I open the door. I swallow harshly as I pull my jacket off.

Behind my father, I see Lilliana and Jared stand up.

"Where were you, Vladimira?" My father hisses.

Off f*cking your enemy, I think sarcastically.

"Titus was at a bar, and we got drunk. I knew you didn't want me driving home drunk, so I checked into a hotel," I say as I walk towards the kitchen.

My father's powerful form follows behind me.

Technically, I did go to a hotel, I just didn't do any sleeping.

"I was worried sick, Vladimira! I thought Titus had kidnapped you or worse!"My father yells even louder.

I look into his unique, red eyes, the eye color of The Alpha King's wolf.

These are the time where he really is worried, but he doesn't want to show it.

Slowly, I walk into the kitchen and grab some orange juice from the refrigerator.

"I'm fine, Dad,"I say seriously. My father sucks in a breath, knowing I only call him Dad when I'm trying to calm him down.

My father walks over to me and takes me into a hug.

He's worried to death. Ever since his mate died when she was giving birth to me, he has had a strong, subtle fear of losing me.

It isn't something he just talks about in normal everyday conversation.

"Dmitri, we have to start working on the problem," Jared says lowly. I furrow my eyes, quickly pulling away from my father.

I look between the two as I drink all my orange juice in one gulp. "What problem?"

My father sighs. "Titus got through our line of defense very easily. We're working on finding the problem in our system.

"It isn't good for our pack to have mishaps like this. We are suppose to be the most prestigious pack in the world! I can annihilate a whole pack in two minutes flat, our warriors should be that advanced, too."

I nod in understanding before waving the men off to do their business.

Lilli is quick to grab my hand and drag me upstairs.

Lilli and I have been best friends since the late 1600s and our father's have been friends for even longer.

She has always been known for her innocent appearance but conniving demeanor, and I love her for that.

Unlike my dark blue eyes and dark red hair, Lilli has brown eyes with brunette hair, another trait I love about her.

Lilli plops down on the bed before stealing my sleeping cat off the floor.

I forgot about that cat...

My white cat, Ivory, purrs before snuggling into Lilli's lap.

She smiles before looking at me.

"I know you weren't really telling the truth," Lilli says cooly. My shoulders drop.

Why should I keep this from her? She'll find out eventually!

"I had sex with Titus," I say quickly, but Lilli catches every word.

She shoots up, making Ivory fly off her lap. "What!?"

Telling Lilli is starting to feel like a horrible idea, but then again, Lilliana's morals are different from mine.

For example, she still has hope that she will find her mate, while I lost hope a long time ago.

I shrug my shoulders while staring at the ground, suddenly finding the wooden rectangles very intriguing.

"I wasn't thinking," I whisper lowly.

Lilli rolls her eyes. "Yeah, you weren't! You're the luna to a pack, an unmated female, not to mention that your father, Dmitri Volchinov, is The Alpha King!"

I nod, already knowing what's on the line if someone finds out about Titus and I's little run-in.

Lilli sucks in a long breath. "You did use protection... right?" She says slowly. I nod once again.

"I'm not that stupid, Lilli. To risk everything for a child that I'll never love, an abomination to my life."

Wincing, Lilli puts her hand on my shoulder. "I'm pretty sure you wouldn't think your own child is an abomination," She whispers.

I glare at her, wondering why she is suddenly switching her point of view on this situation.

"You were just implying that a child wouldn't be a good thing!" I yell in disbelief. Lilli thinks over her reply carefully before saying something.

"No, I was implying that you would become attached to the child no matter what, mistake or not... abomination or not," Lilli says slowly.

I stare at her as I try to deny the fact, but I'm not my father, I can't just shut off my emotions and not care about anybody or anything for as long as I want.

Whether I like it or not, I would become attached to the child.

"Well, it's a good thing we used protection," I say as I rub my hands on my dress.

Lilli shakes her head. "Vladimi-"

I cut Lilli off with a hard stare, making her shut up immediately.

"Now, I would like to take a shower," I wave towards the door. Lilli nods before leaving the room.

I release a harsh sigh as I move towards my bathroom.

'I'm sorry,' Greer whispers. I furrow my eyebrows in confusion.

'What?'

Greer sighs. 'I'm sorry for being a complete bitch to you, I'm your wolf and I should be there for you. I love you, Vladimira.'

A smile spreads over my face as turn the shower on.

'I love you too, Greer,' I say honestly.

Deep down, I'm afraid. My father will be beyond furious, but knowing that I have support from Greer and Lilliana makes me feel slightly better.

Stepping into the shower, I let my mind float back to last night with Titus, how much pleasure he brought me.

Soon, tears are rolling down my cheeks, mixing with the small pelts of water from the shower head.

I betrayed everyone I love for one night of pleasure with the enemy.

I'm a disgrace...
