Izuku Midoriya's never caught a break in his life. His father left before most kids could remember. But he has an eidetic memory, so he remembers every second of the night he left, and every word of the letter his father left for him. Then he was revealed to be quirkless. Everyone he ever knew except for his mother ended up leaving him. Teachers stopped encouraging him to follow his dreams, kids stopped talking to him and playing with him.
Even Bakugou Katsuki, his best friend decided that without a quirk, Izuku wasn't good enough any more. But Izuku never gave up. He would protect other kids from being bullied, he told the teachers whenever he thought something was wrong and did his best in every aspect of his life to be a good person.
Even though Izuku wasn't liked by any of the school staff– them seeing him as an embarrassment to the school for being quirkless– they also knew that he was too smart to be in the same classes as other kids, and there was no way for them to try and keep him back anyways when he was tested multiple times to make sure he could do it. So he was put up two grades and whenever they could, he was put in advanced classes.
The older kids weren't any nicer to him, if anything they were worse. And it wasn't like his mother could do anything, she was at home and unaware of what time is was thanks to her paranoid schizophrenia. So Izuku suffered through it quietly, making a couple acquaintances and keeping his head down until he got into highschool. He doubled up on as many classes as he could and graduated at the age of 13.
He continued to get into Tokyo Institute of Technology, a college for the brightest minds in math and science in Japan. He got his undergraduate degree at 16 and continued to get multiple PHDs. He also entered the Tokyo FBI Academy, doing miserably at anything physical yet still getting into the BAU's best team at the age of 21, thanks to exceptions being made in qualifications.
