"Are you ok?" Zeke asked. "Yeah, I'm good now." I said looking in the pantry. "Where's Ollie?" he asked. "Taking a nap with Finn." "Huh?" he asked, confused. "He went to the room bored so I had him babysit while I took a shower." I said. "Nice." he said. "I'm hungry again." I said, looking through the cabinets. "You're always hungry." he said, chuckling. I glare at him. "You're mean." I said turning back to the pantry.
Hayden walks in the front door pulling at his hair, crying. I walked up to him and slapped him across the face. "What the hell were you thinking!? Do you have any idea what you put Annie through!?" I yelled. "I'm sorry. I just wanna make things right with her." he said with a shaky voice. "No. You're not going up there. Because you know what? I'm done with your shit and I know damn well that she's done with it too. You have been suspicious for way too long and today she finally caught you. Now you wanna apologize to her!? I don't think so." I said. "She's been through enough and you just added to the list of traumatic things that have happened to her." "Nass, please." he begged. "I'm sorry and I know I fucked up. Please forgive me." "It's not me you should be apologizing to." I said before grabbing some Advil from the counter and going upstairs to check on Annie.
