Scott's been feeling very sick for the past few days, with a scratchy throat and the occasional cold. It would have been fine, except his fever wasn't making things easier for him. So here he is, lying on a hotel bed and miserably scrolling through his phone.

Alex gets off the elevator and makes his way back to his and Scott's shared hotel room. After fishing out his keycard, he swings the door open loudly. "Honey, I'm home!" he calls out obnoxiously.

Scott cringes and places a pillow over his head to block out the noise. "Get out." he mumbles weakly.

"No, you need to get out. It's literally so pretty babe. Why are you all shacked up inside?" Alex empties his pocket and starts searching for some shoes that can take a bit of abuse.

Scott makes no move to respond and snuggles deeper in the sheets. He throws his phone on the nightstand and stays there, half asleep.

Alex tugs on the sheets. "Baaaabe. Come exploring with me!"

Scott shakes his head and tugs the sheets back on him. "You go ahead." he rasps out with a scratchy voice.

Alex stops in the middle of lacing up a shoe. "Babe, what's wrong?"

Scott coughs a bit and sniffles. "Don't feel good. Go with Jake." he replies.

Concern floods through Alex and he kneels on the bed to feel his boyfriend's forehead. "Scott, you're hot!"

Despite his hellish state, Scott manages a smirk. "Thanks, babe." he smiles but frowns in pain again.

Alex rolls his eyes. "Very funny. But no, this is a pretty bad fever. How do you feel?" Alex moves to more of a sitting position, letting a hand run through Scott's hair.

"Moving hurts, my head's all heavy, plus," Scott explains before he stars a sneezing fit, "p-plus," he sniffles, "my throat's all dry."

Alex rubs his thumb over one of Scott's temples, hoping to alleviate some of his discomfort. "Want me to go talk to Esther and see if she has anything to help?"

"I had a kit in my bag, I just couldn't find it." Scott shakes his head. "I'll be fine. I'll sleep it off, you go explore." he smiles.

Alex wanders over to Scott's bag and starts tossing things around in search of the medicine. "Have you ever heard of organization?" he grumbles. Why was Scott's bag so huge? He wears the same thing every night! He's about to turn the bag inside out when he spots the small baggy of assorted pills peeking out of Scott's other bag. "Are you kidding me."

Scott wheezes and curls up in a ball, holding his head as it aches. He starts mumbling incoherent words in complaint.

Alex rustles through the bag and pulls out a bottle of what he hopes will help Scott feel better. "I'll be right back babe, just going to get a cup of water."

Scott barely nods and whines, tossing and turning in the bed.

Alex comes back to the room and frowns at the sight of his boyfriend. "Sorry Scott, but you need to sit up to take these. Just for a second."

Scott shakes his head, feeling heavier with the thought of getting up. "No, please." he complains.

Alex wraps his arms around Scott's shoulders and slowly pulls him up into a seated position. "Come, on. Easy." He mumbles out a quick apology at his boyfriend's obvious discomfort and hands Scott the glass of water and offers him some pills.

Scott leans on to his boyfriend and drinks the pills with a skewed face. "Horrible." he comments after he drinks. He looks up at Alex and blinks his watery eyes.

Alex looks back at him with sympathetic eyes. "Okay, let's get you comfortable again." He keeps a strong arm around Scott's back as he gently lowers him back onto the bed. He takes the glass and sets it on the bedside table and tosses the bag of pills onto the desk chair. "Do you need anything else baby?"

Scott wipes his leaking eyes and pouts. "Do you really have to go?"

Alex sits back on the edge of the bed and rests his hand on Scott's shoulder. "Not when you're feeling like this. Don't worry, I'll stay with you."

Scott nods and hugs Alex's waist with weak arms. "Stay and cuddle me." he demands with a sniffle. "I don't wanna go anywhere right now." he sighs.

"Of course baby." Alex croons. "Wanna do some thing to pass the time?"

Scott knows what he's going to ask is gonna be risky, knowing that the roles were usually reversed when his happens. But all he wants now is...
"Sing for me." he requests.

Alex lets out a laugh. "Are you serious? Scott, I think even in this state your voice is better than mine. The point is to make your feel better."

Scott frowns. "I hear you sing in the shower and it's good." he retorts.

"Everyone sounds decent in the shower." But with another glance at the pout on Scott's face he sighs. "What do you want to hear?" he asks.

Inside, Scott was preening at the idea that Alex was finally going to sing for him. He settles into his boyfriend's embrace and murmurs his chosen song. "All of Me."

Alex sighs in relief, glad that Scott chose one of the few songs he knew by heart. He gets into a more comfortable position, laying down with Scott's head resting on his chest. Softly, he begins singing the first verse.

Within seconds, Scott finds his eyes falling closed as he presses himself closer against Alex. "Up till the chorus, okay?" he clarifies.

Alex just nods his head and keeps singing while gently rubbing circles on Scott's back. During the chorus, he has to concentrate to keep himself from tearing up.

But just like any professional singer (or as Scott likes to call himself), he notices the slight crack just before Alex ends the song and Scott glances up to see Alex looking up and rubbing his eyes with one hand. "Alex?" he asks with hesitation.

Alex jumps slightly at Scott's voice, thinking he had fallen asleep. "Sorry babe, just getting a little emotional. This song means a lot to us, you know?"

Scott manages a small smile and kisses the only accessible part of Alex, which happens to be his pec. He laughs and shakes his head. "You are adorable." he whispers.

"Did you just kiss my nipple?" Alex giggles. He leans forward and presses a light kiss to Scott's forehead. "Hm, not as warm. You feeling a little better?"

Scott pouts with his flustered face and scrunches his nose. "A bit, but not by much." He sneezes.

Alex grabs a tissue from the bedside table and hands it to his boyfriend. "Do you think maybe a small nap will help?"

Scott nods and accepts the tissue to blow his nose. He looks up at Alex with another pout, attempting to look helpless and begging.

"Those eyes are killing me. And a nap it is." Alex tosses away the the tissue and pulls Scott closer to his side. "I love you." he whispers, placing a gentle kiss on Scott's cheek.

Scott doesn't reply and continues pouting, making Alex guess the reason why.

Alex grins at Scott's little pout, and leans in again to kiss his nose.

If anything, Scott's mock-frown deepens as he sticks his bottom lip out more prominently.

Alex gives in and goes in for a slow, gentle kiss which would have left him weak had he been standing up. "God, you're cute." he mumbles out.

Scott smiles into the kiss and tugs at Alex's shirt quietly.

Before pulling back, Alex places one last kiss on Scott's forehead. "Get some sleep, love." he whispers.

"I love you." Scott murmurs and places a hand over Alex's torso.

Alex lifts his hand to rest over Scott's. "I love you too." he sighs. Sleepily, he starts to hum the chorus of "All of Me".

With this, Scott falls asleep to the low hum of Alex's song before falling back into slumber.
