Like usual you were heading to your locker. It has been stressful week. You reached you locker. You were putting on your jacket as you saw Vinnie and his friend coming at you. Vinnie was the "bad" and popular boy in school. He made fun of you many times.
Vinnie: oh hi
You sighed and turned against him.
You: what do you want?
Vinnie: Just checking are u still a loser
You: leave me alone
You just left him there standing and walked outside. It was friday. Finally weekend.
Your friend: hiii!
You: hello
Your friend: everything alright?
You: ugh you know vinnie
Your friend: well i know something that could cheer you up...
Your friend had a familiar look on her face.
You: no
Your friend: you don't even know what i was about to say
You rolled your eyes knowing well what she was about to say.
Your friend: there is a party
You: no
Your friend: oh c'mon you never come
You kept just walking.
Your friend: only this time
She stopped walking and you turned to look at her.
You: fine.
Your friend: yay! okay i will pick you up at six
You nodded laughing. It was true that you never went to a party, you still wanted but never went. But today you would and thank god with a friend.
TIME SKIP
You were standing in the corner of the room. People were dancing, chatting and chilling. Your friend went to dance but you just didn't feel like it. You had your camera with you. You took a lot of pictures. You wondered around the house, until you found yourself sitting outside.
You were sitting on a beach chair and looking through the pictures on your camera. Suddenly you heard sniffing coming from the bushes.. Someone was crying.
You: Hey? is someone there?
no answer.
You: are you okay?
still no answer.
You: great now it look like i am talking to bushes
"no you are not"
You were surprised someone answered.
You: are you okay?
"Just some stuff going on"
You: if you wanna talk i am here for you
"thank you"
"why are you nice to me? i am stranger behind a bush"
You: we should always help each other. No matter who you are.
A figure walked from behind the bushes. It was Vinnie.
You: vin?
Vinnie: don't tell anyone
You: are you okay?
Vinnie: i mean....
Vinnies friend: yo wassup vin?
Vinnie: nothing much
Vinnies friend: is this the l-o-s-e-r!
You looked down to your hands. They left without saying anything. After some time you went inside to find your friend.
You bumped in to Vinnie's friend group on the way.
Vinnies friend: watch out loser!!
you rolled your eyes and walked away.
Vinnies friend: yo come back!
You walked in front of them.
You: what now
Vinnies friend: can we use your camera?
You: no
Vinnies friend: why not?
You: because i say so.
everyone around you cheered and waiting what was gonna happen. Vinnie tried to look away.
Vinnies friend: yo vinnie you should break her camera.
You could not say anything, when they took it from you so fast.
You: give it back!!!
Vinnies friend: what are you gonna do? cry?
One of the guys smashed the camera to the floor.
You: STOP!
Tears quickly appeared on your cheeks.
Vinnies friend: are you crying because of a camera??
In fact you were, but it was your grandmas old camera. It was very important for you. You stared Vinnie with teary eyes as he didn't do anything. You thought you guys felt empathy for each other.
The guys were laughing and you just wanted to leave. So that is what you did. You just ran outside and went home fast. As you got to your room, you cried. But what should you expect from him.
