CHAPTER 11
「 Beautiful 」

PRINCE BARELY GOT a wink of sleep last night, resulting in him being even more quiet as a not so subtle pain in his head began spreading. His lack of sleep wasn't exactly because of his parents coming home in just a few hours but it was related to that.Vague, unpleasant memories kept clouding his mind whenever he'd attempt to drift off to dreamland— he always seemed to end up in a place filled with nightmares and horrifying figures instead.
One of the memories that had stuck to him yet still not have a crystal clear outline of it was of him in the basement at his parents' house, the table beside him that had buckets filled with both human and animal organs were much larger than usual, he sat on top of a wobbly wooden chair that threatened to topple over every time he moved.
There were two things that made Prince remember this bloody memory, one of them was the fact that he was bound in thick ropes and was wearing dirty, tattered clothes. The other was that his mother was slowly making her way down the steps, the feeling of dread, fear, and horror washing over him as the sounds of her slippers echoed in the small area.
He couldn't resist the vomit that was quickly rising up his throat whenever he'd recall that horrid memory, he had emptied his stomach a total of four times ever since this morning.
"Don't go to school today."
Prince knew that it was no use in trying to fight off his boyfriend, especially with how weak and unstable he felt. Instead, he let the taller help him rinse off the bitter taste in his mouth, carrying him back to bed afterwards.
"C—Can you stay. . . with me?" He whispered, the soreness in his throat hadn't gone away even when he drank water. Gun didn't hesitate on getting in bed again with the other, carefully placing his boyfriend's head on his arm.
