First Kiss

After that talk with Shijie and Jiang Cheng he immediately went back to his room, he took a bath and lay on bed thinking about his Shijie have said.

He always thought of Lan Zhan as his equal, his bestfriend, his Soulmate. But his not sure that Lan Zhan thought the same as him. Whenever they both meet up he they end up arguing as Lan Zhan always asked him abot his method of cultivation.

Lan Zhan has been asking him to come back to Gusu with Him, which he always think that the later only wants to punished him. Yet, he can't never hate him.

Lan Zhan, Lan Zhan why can't I stop thinking about you? Why can't you just leave me alone?

After a while of thinking he falls asleep. It was a week later when they had the invitation from Lanling Jin for the Mountain crowd Hunt that the Jins are organizing. He have missed Lan Zhan so much but his too afraid to show his feelings so he only tried his best to hide it.

"Everyone here is already familiar with the Rules but i want to highlight that this row of targets is the first barrier before entering the mountain, the only people who hit a target may enter the hunt. Let's begin!" Jin Guanyao Said with a creepy smile on his face.

Just then the Jin diciples have drag people whos wearing chains and they the terrified cries of the remaining Wen they were brought out to stand in front of the targets. Wei Ying and Lan Zhan exchange glances, Lan Zhan can see that Wei Ying is getting more and more angry so he is trying to calm in down.

Wei Ying was about to step forward to say something yet Lan Zhan grab into his wrist.

"Don't be rash, the enemy is watching. Don't let them see you get angry" Lan Zhan whisper to Wei Ying in hope that the later will listen to him.

But Wei Ying just couldn't stand watching those people suffer, he once again tried to step forward ready to argue but he look at where his brother is and saw that Jiang Cheng send him a glare warning. Wei Ying clenched his jaw and stepped back, he is anger is rising, his warmed temperature has gone cold.

Jin Zixuan step forward and said "Ahmp! Easy"

Jin Zixuan fly up and shoot an arrow hitting the bulleye. Wei Ying rolled his eyes the same as Jiang Cheng rolled his eyes seeing the peacock being so arrogant.

Okay, if that's all you want! Let's do this!

He turned to Lan Zhan and smiled at him before saying

"Lan Zhan, Can you help me with something?"

Lan Zhan looked at him in surprise, he then turned to Wei Ying asking

"What is it?"

Wei Ying glance at Lan Zhan's Forehead Ribbon he smiled at said

"Can I Borrow your Ribbon?"

Lan Zhan didn't answer him and turn his head away, Wei Ying pouted then feels Jiang Cheng's glare he step forward took his wrist ribbon and wrapped it around his eyes. People who saw this are confuse of what he is doing. Wei Ying then Took five arrows blindfolded. He Breath In and Breath out. Spinning Wei Ying lifted the arrows and shoot, making the five arrows hitting bulleyes.

A loud applause was hear and the Yunmeng Jiang disciples cheering for him. Suddenly Jin Jixun spoke his voice is so loud.

"Wei Wuxian, if you think your so great. Why don't you leave your blind fold on without taken it off until the hunt is over?"

Wei Ying only shrugged and said "Okay"

Everyone left to go their destination Wei Ying walked inside the mountain he looks like his not here for the hunt but looking he's just scrolling on his garden. Lan Zhan followed him as he is worried for Wei Ying since later has his blindfold on.

When Wei Ying found a comfortable place he sat down the tree branch, he took his flute out and started playing a beautiful song that resonates throughout the forest. After he finished playing he put the flute back on his waist belt and the peony that was on his chest. He Close his eyes to take a nap and not so long he heard a rustling noise of someone walking on the nearby.

Someone is coming, but i don't sense any killing intent on this person

"Are you here for the hunt? " He didn't hear any respond from that person.

"You won't get anything if your around me"

He heard the rustle once more and this time is faster.

They are coming! Hesitation? Is it because they are afraid of me? Then let's see what this person wants to do with me.

Wei Ying was about to get down from the tree but that said person push him back pinning his arms above his head. He struggle to get out of this person's grip but instead that person Kissed him! This shock Wei Ying as someone have stolen his first kiss!

Who is this maiden? Why is she so strong? Why is she shivering? is she scared and shy? She's even nervous as well. If i pull back my blindfold to see who is this person is, I wonder how embarrassed she will be?

That said person deepen the kiss even farther making Wei Ying hard to breath. For some reason instead of resisting he felt the lips to be warm and comforting. He felt drawn to it, he had to hold himself back though, he didn't want this person to get any wrong idea.

I can't breath

He tried to push that person away, that person pull Him back into the kiss once more before pulling the two of them apart. But before the said person can walk away Wei Ying have summon some dark energy to make the said person to halt his step and block his way of escaping.

Wei Ying then Took off his blindfold and adjust his visions only to see Lan Zhan in front of him. His surprised and Shock that it was him to kiss him!

"Lan Zhan?"
