Chapter 2

3rd person POV

                                            In the Imperial Capital the governors and politicians of the empire are meeting with the emperor. The man currently talking to him is Marquis Casel and he said "my lord the Gate situation is an other catastrophe, I'm sorry to report that over 60% of the imperial army is now gone, how are we supposed to respond to this situation" after that the hole court talked amongst themselves. The emperor then said "steady Marquis Casel no doubt everything seemed untenable at the moment" emperor Molto then added "and yes it appears the military advantage we had is completely evaporated but what I believe what actually troubles you if our subordinate nations can combine there straights and bring rebellion to the steps of the capital". Emperor Molto then continued "is that the true threat is it not, every time we find ourselves in a precarious situation the emperor, the senat, and the people of the empire unit and  managers grow even stronger from it. My dear Marquis you can not win every battle in war, I won't hold anyone accountable in this fight. I'm shure the Marquis nor the senat wants to debate, rather being the capital surrounded by enemy troops " everyone in the senat started laughing at that and the Marquis said "he's completely forgotten he started this" just then another man took the stage and he said "what's your plan your majesty?, two days was all it took of there army to cause some incredible loses, they seize control of the gate and establish a foothold on our land. We tried to take the Gate once it arrived and it was a complete disaster, we couldn't even get close to them, (flash back to guns firing), I have never seen such sorcery it's as if they cast fire itself and there's the monster they have". Emperor Molto arched his brow and asked "what monster?" The man gulped and said "he rode on some kind of metal hours with a metal staff in one hand and a sword in another, he  slaughtered over 30 men before the rest of that army finished and all the while he laughed like a mad man. It's almost like the embodiment of Emory itself".
Then everyone started talking about this man but it was quickly ended by itself, one man from the crowd then shouted "we must fight!, our vassals must give us what we demand. Rebuild our army using there soldiers" another man then said "that will only make things worse Senator!" After that the howl room was in an uproar until the emperor silence them. After the room went quite he said "waiting for matters to worsen is not the answer therefore we must stand and fight" this shocked the room then he continued " send messengers to fare and wide as there horses can take them. Tell them we need there assistance in repelling the incoming forces we need them right now, make it so have Gondu renu womin and all other allied kingdoms rally to us it's time to retake almis hill!" Everyone cheered for the emperor's decoration but Marquis Casel stepped forward I front of the emperor and said "your Imperial majesty I fear almis will leave another battle field littered with the corpses of men" the emperor just smirked and thus the summit was over. Near almis hill an army marches and one man can be seen on his horse looking at the marching troops, this man is lord Duran one of the men leading this army. A man came up on horse back and said "my lord" Duran looked to him and the soldier said "I spotted what could be enemy scouts at a vantage point of two hills ahead " Duran replied while in a hurry "let them be for now, I must hurry to the gathering of kings!" At sundown the meeting of kings started and Duran asked "why hasn't the commander of the imperial army come in?" A soldier replied "I'm afraid I deliver very distressing news, we are in the mints an offense against Almis hill my lord, it's impossible for the commander to leave his post." The other kings where displeased to hear the news then Duran said with suspicion"that doesn't sound right my observers only spotted a modest number of enemy troops. "
One of the kings named Regu came up to him and said "Sir Duran the imperial army is holding down the enemy for forces " Duran then asked "are you shure?" The soldier interrupted and said " sire we only need one thing from you, we need you to strike the anomie tomorrow morning" one of the kings stood up and said "very well the my army shall be the spear head of they attack" they then fought over who should lead the army all but Duran. The soldier then said "tomorrow morning Almis hill will be waiting " he then left and Regu told Duran "what a shame, this should be our time to shine" Duran then said "the enemy army has only ten thousand men we out number them thirty to one, I don't think being the first in battle would be very distinguish" Regu then said "where else would the glory be being first to sound the retreat." Duran replied "all my years we have never seen such a foe" he laughed and said" even Lord Duran the lion of the royal state of elva can't keep the ravages of time from catching up with him!" Duran then asked "by the way do you believe in the reports about that man?" Regu then answered "I think it's just a misunderstanding after all some soldiers can hallucinate during battle " Duran hoped he was right. The next day the army marched to Almis hill, Duran came out of his tent and said "I say it's about time we join them on the battle field " one of his soldiers came up to him in a haste and said "your majesty, it's the other kingdoms they have begun there assault on Almis hill and lord Regu was sent to join them" Duran then asked "and the imperial troops?" The soldier answered "my Lord, no imperial troops none have bing sited on the hill" Duran was shocked and said "what was that!?" With the army Regu looked around and said "why don't I see the imperial army?" His soldier replied "there not here sir" he then said " that can't be" on a hill over looking the army we see (Y/N) with scope and a walkie-talkie, He then said to the walkie-talkie " enemy is in bound prepare to rain over" the army trampled over a warning sign to keep them out. Once they passed it they hear a sound coming from the sky mos they look up and then explosions started destroying the army until nothing was left.
Duran and his men saw it happen and he said "impossible, is the hill irrupt Ing around us?" Him and his men arched near the smoke and he looked around and said after seeing the ground littered with corpses "where's Aguda's king?, Where's the king of Mordrun?, Where the hell is Regu?!" The allied kingdoms 1st offensive resulted with 10,000 casualties. The second Offensive was obliterated buy tanks and anti-aircraft guns, and (Y/N) on his military ATV shooting other soldiers and it resulted with 40,000 casualties. The remaining kings gathered and one of them said "we brought 100,000 of our own troops and only Half of them are gone how can this be?, what is his majesty's army doing and why aren't there here?!" One of The remain five said "even the imperial army can't stand against this foe, the only option is to retreat " Duran then said "retreat is not an option " they wondered why he said that until he said "for the realm we must strike back!" One of the men then said "lord Duran we have neither the men nor the Materials" he then said "a night raid might give us the advantage". Duran lead the remaining troops under a night with a new moon and approach from the opposite side of the sun, but in the distance we see (Y/N) wearing night vision goggles on watching the army and he said to himself "closer, closer" once they got to a certain points he fired flairs to illuminate the land and for the gunners to get ready. Duran then charger and said "No!, all troops!, forward!, keep moving take the fight to them!" The tanks send a volley to them but Duran kept charging until his horse hit barber wire Barrier and fell off, his troops formed a defensive faylanx around him to help him up and before he could get them to run the gunners opened fired and along with the tanks they couldn't stand a chance. Duran walked closer to the hill but stopped to pick up a bow and arrow, he aimed well and said "god dame you!" He fired the arrow, he then said "how could you, what did we due to deserve this" (Y/N) drove up a few feet away from him and Duran took notice of this, the two locked eyes and since either know each other's languages (Y/N) gave him a apologetic look and Duran took notice of it and returned it. (Y/N) headed back to the hill and Duran said "I guess he was real" he then broke out in hysterical laughing while a morder hit near him blowing off his arm and leg.
