I was at the store with my mom, I had finally gotten my casts off. I saw this magazine Austin and I were on the cover of, usually I think it's cute but this one said 'Austin Mahone and Melanie Lauer broke up?' and then underneath that it had bulletpoints with 'Mahone and Becky G new couple?' and other stuff like that.
He goes back in a week.
I bought the magazine and we went home. I saw him at the table with everyone and I threw the magazine onto the table in front of him. He looked up at me.
''Explain.''
I pointed to the magazine and he looked at it, his eyes widened.
''This must have been from that stupid kiss, didn't you talk about it in the interview?''
''Didn't you see the interview, they totally edited it to make it look like I said we broke up and you 2 kissing didn't help.''
''We accidentally kissed you know that.''
''But the entire world doesn't, they see this and think its really over between us.''
''So what do you want me to do about it.''
''Austin, we both can tweet out to our fans that were still together and happily in love unless you've changed your mind.''
''No, I haven't changed my mind and just tweeting isn't gonna work.''
''Then we'll post Instagram pictures of us being lovey dovey, we'll let the paps catch us together in public, this is bad for our reputation because now it makes you seem like a cheater and it makes me seem like I was ok with the kiss.''
''I thought you were ok with it?''
At this point everyone was watching our first argument since we got back together.
''Yes Austin I'm ok hearing and seeing my boyfriend kissing another girl who's closer to his age, more experienced at making music, and extremely pretty she could be a model, what if I was caught kissing Daniel Skye or something.''
''The kiss was on accident.''
''That's crap theres no way a kiss like that could be on accident.''
''You can call her up and ask her.''
''That's not the point.''
''What's your point?''
''That magazine, people cant keep making shiz up like that its not fair to us and it's more importantly not fair to the fans. Would everyone please stop staring at us!''
I was now looking at everyone.
''Ok I know this is an argument between you 2 I shouldn't get in the way of but I'm grandma so I am.''
I smiled and looked down, she knows how to cheer me up.
''Whether or not the kiss was on purpose or not, it shouldn't of happened and Austin you should of explained yourself on whatever this Twitter and Instagram nonsense is, second Mel your right its not fair for them to do this to an amazing couple like you guys but right now all you guys can do is let your fans know that everything is ok between you guys and always remember what happened last time you argued, keep it up and you 2 will be the new Jelena.''
I giggled and looked at Austin who was still extremely calm.
''Does this happen a lot?''
He nodded.
''Almost everyday but all this the magazines and stuff its like haters, there all jealous because of a relationship like ours, some might prefer me to be with Becky but I don't I wanna be with you and I am not making another mistake like last time.''
