tw: murder, suicide
—
amber had been planning this for months now; ever since she felt her love drifting away from her, she needed a plan to make sure tara's stays her's forever, that they can be together forever, and she came up with the perfect plan. a plan where she can take them both out of this horrid town, and be together forever. no matter what, they'll be together.
it was perfect. she thought out every single scenario, and she knows she can pull this off, she has too. if she doesn't do this right...she just may end up ruining her life.
smiling at the ghost face mask on her hands, she holds up the voice changer to her mouth, and hits her love's contact.

as much as it hurt to see her love go crazy over this psycho that called her every week or so under a different number, it caused tara to spend more time with amber. she usually called amber to come over almost every day, and she barely talked to wes anymore.
mostly because wes is dead in amber's basement, but no one needs to know that. it's only the consequences of wes trying to flirt with her baby constantly, and trying to steal tara away from her.
he knew it was coming anyways. amber warned him, and showed him the signs. he was the one that was stupid enough to walk done to her basement alone. it was merely the consequences of his own actions.
plus it was fun to see his momma go crazy over it too. missing persons papers were all over the place, and judy hicks was interviewing everybody.
it was honestly laughable at this point.

she didn't want it to come down to this. she knew one day it would happen, but she never wanted it too. she knew this wasn't a normal thing for people, but maybe that's what happens to kids whose parents neglect them their whole life. they don't know right from wrong.
putting on her ghost face costume, she smiled at herself in the mirror, putting her knife and gun in the pockets.
when she got to tara's house, she called tara on one of her many burner phones.
"hello?" tara's nervous voice came through the phone.
switching the voice changer on, amber chuckled a bit. "hello, tara."
amber heard what sounded like a sob over the phone which broke her heart. she didn't want it to have to come down to this but she has no choice.
"what do you want from me!" tara yelled over the phone sniffling.
"i want you." amber said. "if i can't have you, no one can. not that stupid bitch amber, and not that idiot mommy's boy, wes."
"i haven't done anything to you! i don't even know you!"
"oh you do." amber grinned. "come open the door and i'll show you."
amber knew tara would hang up after that, but she knows where her spare key is in the back, that opens the back door.
if she planned this out correctly, tara should be in the kitchen cooking dinner right now, and the back door is in the living room.
walking away, amber quietly opened the back gate and made her way to the back door. she flipped over the frog statue, and grabbed the key from under it. she slowly inserted the key into the lock, and quietly opened the door.
she looked around, staying close to walls, she saw tara puffing her inhaler, and stirring noodles.
she walked farther back, and called her again. the phone ringing made tara jump. although, tara didn't answer.
the ringtone beep sounded through, and amber said her message. it immediately played through the landline speaker.
"do you think i made it into your house before you locked the doors?"
tara dropped the spoon, and looked around in horror. she went over to her phone at the end of the counter, but before she could grab it, someone was spinning her around and pinning her back up against the wall.
tara screamed, kicking her leg up, but amber grabbed it with one of her hands as the other held tara against the wall by her throat.
"don't fight me. it's useless." amber growled.
"fuck! you!" tara grunted as she squirmed.
amber grabbed the knife out of her pocket, her real phone being timed to call tara's landline at this exact moment. tara obviously couldn't pick up the phone, but ambers pre-recorded message played through the speaker.
"hey mama. i'm heading to bed right now but i just wanted to say goodnight, and that...i love you. bye."
tara looked into ghost face's face, tears pooling in her eyes and falling down her cheeks.
amber took the knife and held it to tara's throat. she stopped resisting at the point, and let ghost face do whatever.
amber leaned into tara's ear and whispered, "you're mine," just as she slid the knife across tara's throat. watching crimson blood flow down her neck, and blood beginning to come out of her mouth.
soon tara was dead.
amber quickly took off the ghost face costume and put it outside. she grabbed the gun out of her pocket, and went back to where tara lay cold.
she sat beside to girl, and grabbed her hand, kissing the back of it. "we did it my love. i love you so much, and we're gonna be so much happier up there together."
amber didn't realize she had tears falling down her own cheeks, and with shaky hands, she raised the gun up to her head, and pulled the trigger.
her body fell onto tara's, landing perfectly on her as if it was one of their normal saturday nights in bed. blood pooling onto tara's already bloody shirt, and silence filling the home.
two days later...
"we are standing outside of a crime scene this monday evening; two young women have been murdered. police say they found a ghost face costume on the back porch, as well as the key to the house..." gale weathers continued to go on and on, as grieving parents sat inside a police station, being interrogated as to why there was a sixteen year old boy in the basement of their home.
and up in the sky, tara and amber continued to live happily ever after.
