Love.

Some say it's only a chemical reaction. A release of serotonin, dopamine and adrenaline. Lust rather than love. It's is a lie we tell ourselves exists, a fairytale we convinced ourselves is real.

Others say it is a deep connection: a twin flame. Your own soul, shared across what appears to be two physical beings; one soul split into two bodies. The tale says when a soul is created, it is split into two parts, mirrors of each other, constantly yearning to reconnect. Is that true?

It is a beautiful fantasy, to believe one is created entirely for us and is a mirror of ones self: the perfect match.

However no one knows the truth. We all live off our own expectations of it. Creating what we want to be our reality.

Monogamy and love often clash.

Could you love one being meanwhile loving another. Whether it's two people, three or five.

Since it isn't in our human nature to be monogamous. Society enforces the image of what a perfect relationship should look like. What gender, colour of skin, religion, amount of lovers and many other things.

In reality the only important thing in a relationship is happiness for yourself not others.

Trust and loyalty. Love is nothing without those two things to be the foundation of a relationship.

Sex and intimacy keep it going however, it isn't always necessary.

Care should always be there.

Love; is it a wonderful thing or a the biggest deception there is?

I guess I'll never know...
