Gwen was a menace, an absolute menace.

By the time she completed the customers order she harshly snatched at Peter's arm before jotting down a messy array of numbers on his hand.

"Call me".

She simply told him before she found herself standing back behind the counter in which she tugged off her pinkish colored apron before leaving the shop with gracefulness to her every step.

Peter looked down at the phone number with furrowed brows before he hesitantly decided to add the contact to his phone.

Almost immediately after that encounter Peter decided to leave the coffee shop- and it definitely wasn't because it was Mj's shift coming up next.

As Peter excited the shop he continued to ponder about the mysterious cat burglar. Much like himself this person had nothing about them. No name- no identity- literally nothing about them was available it was an immediate dead end. Peter surely had to complain to Double D about this loose end of a tip- if you could even still call it that.

He still didn't know why Daredevil gave him that tip in the first place. Investigating things was much more of Daredevil's territory then Spider-mans. Peter was much more into stopping crime as it happened while Daredevil tried to prevent it before it happened.

Still though Peter wanted to solve this case. Honestly this mysterious cat burglar intrigued him and much like any nerd he became fixated on it.

Peter knew for a fact that he wouldn't be able to figure this out by himself- so with little hesitation he pulled his phone from his pocket before dialing Karen's number. The phone barely had a chance to ring before Karen picked up.

"Peter! What's up"?

"Hello Ms Page sorry to call on such short notice but I was curious if you knew anything about that cat burglar that's been going around lately"?

Karen hummed under her breath before coming up with her reply.

"Not much more than what's already known about them, why"?

"Collage paper".

Peter quickly lied through his teeth. Karen was quite aware of the fact he was taking his GED and then planning to take a couple years at Columbia. Peter just hoped that this lie was believable enough as he had just literally made it up on the spot.
