Chapter 6 Tempting

 "As tempting as that is because clearly, I want to take that dress off you," he said hinting at his obvious boner that he knew you felt.
"I think this is as far as we should go, for now, we are both in our senses but he still drank. I also meant it when I asked to have you, I want to date you and learn more about you."

You couldn't help but smile. He's such a gentleman, and incredibly sweet.

"Well we still have that cake how about we cut that and then put on a movie?" you asked.
"Sounds great," he said with a smile
You held his hand and lead him inside to the couch, you then proceeded to put on a horror movie and sit on the couch too.

"You can come closer, I don't bite...unless you want me to," he said with a small laugh, seeing the little space it had between you two.

You gave a small laugh too and scooted closed, to which he then put his arm around your shoulder. You let yourself lean into him as you both enjoyed the movie. You're both sorcerers so movies can't possibly scare you but it is definitely entertaining. By the end of the movie, you two were basically cuddling on the couch. It felt so natural. You have known each other for 3years so why wouldn't it feel natural?

By the end of the movie he took his non-cuddling hand and took your hand bringing it up to his lips and pressing a kiss to it.

He makes you melt. "Thank you for spending my birthday with me," you say looking up at him. "It was the best one I've had in the longest while."

He bent his head for his lips to reach yours in a small peck,

"I hope to spend more birthdays with you if that's okay."

"That's most definitely okay," you said to which he sealed with another kiss.

Neither of you wants this moment to end.
It was getting late so you both decided to order dinner. You ordered and ate together again.
You both spent time talking after you ate but this time with a cup of coffee. You learned more about him, and he learned a bit more about you. You both felt so comfortable you didn't notice that it somehow became 11pm.

"Look at the time, I shouldn't be in a young lady's apartment this late" he joked.

You chuckled at this. "I wish tonight didn't have to end, but thank you again, for a great birthday."

"You need to stop thanking me" he laughed "If you don't have plans tomorrow, would you like to go have brunch with me?" he asked

"I would love to." you smiled.

He got up first and you followed him to walk him to the door.

"See you tomorrow at 10." he smiled.

"Looking forward to it," you responded.

He bent to give you a goodnight kiss that was meant to be a peck, but you two couldn't help but melt into a proper kiss.

When you finally pulled away you both said goodnight and he left.

You couldn't stop yourself from smiling. Little did you know it was the same for him.

You showered and went to bed, excited to sleep and wake up for the next day.

Not before receiving a goodnight text from him, you replied and then went to sleep.
