Chapter III: In The Desert, It Lies... (Part I)

puffy eyes is not a good thing to start a new day. wishing you to go back to sleep is no longer to be expected.

Sitting at the dinner table, having a fifth cup of coffee, trying to open your eyes as hard as you can.

"Take a day off would you?" Cecilia said with another cup of coffee in her hand.

Reaching your hand for the cup of coffee, Cecilia keeps it out of your reach. "Haaahh.... Already am. I can't sleep last night."

Turning your red eyes to the living room, where both Bianca and Kiana having some playtime with their game console. You're still thinking about what happened last night, and it's been eating away at you to this day.

Kiana said that with her strange eyes, glowing in the night.

You know very well what those eyes were meant.

"You haven't eat your breakfast." Cecilia pulled you from your thoughts. Not noticing the food on the table, you laugh nervously as it gets colder and colder without getting touch from the moment it was served.

"Shit. Sorry about that."

Taking your car to downtown, this time alone, with the usual traffic of Soukai City.

"Damn this traffic." Cursing with no one to hear, you honk the horn aggressively not caring the shout from other cars.

At least something brighten up your day, albeit a little screaming and cursing.

After a few minutes, which is almost an hour, you have arrived at your destination, namely St. Freya academy. Getting out of your car, you are greeted by Theresa in front of the school gate.

"Is the preparations ready?"

Theresa gestured you to follow her into the academy, or rather, at the landing dock not far from the school ground.

Heading to the dock, Theresa gave you a short brief of what truly is going on.

"We detected some unexpected spike of unidentified energy signal recently coming from the east."

"Really? Probably another Honkai outbreak taken place."

"It's not Honkai related."

That's sets off warning to you. Anything that is not Honkai related are considered to be Alien.
