⛵1 Year Later⛵

"Please... I'd do anything." I said to the person infront of me.

As soon as I graduated, I applied for a contract to build a small establishment in the town of JingYan. A small establishment that everyone could call 'School.'

"Your request is pretty difficult, sir. This town is quite far away. We first need to talk with the local government there, then lot condition, land title, cost-"

"Then let's talk about it now. I need to get it done within 3 years."

I plan to achieve a graduate degree in education administration. I'm really working hard so I could run a school in JingYan. I don't know why I'm so engrossed about this idea, but I sure know that I'll be helping a lot of people by doing so.

We've talked about the contract. They couldn't do it themselves, but they've sent a request to the town hall in JingYan. As soon as the town hall committee contacted me, they told me they'll get it done in a short time! I only had to make a down payment for it...

Now, my mom actually gave me all the money she got from her divorce. If I want to go to graduate school, I have to pay more for tuition... and this down payment...

It won't be easy on my wallet for sure.

It's time to find a part-time job while I study. I hope I can get through this.

⛵4 Years Later⛵

Grad school was tough, especially since I was financially challenged. Part-timing as a teacher and tutor barely got me through. Loans and debt might have been taken, but... I'll get them paid.

I was also informed that the establishment I requested in JingYan had been finished.

Throughout the past years, I had actually lived with Mingrui in an apartment. We shared living expenses and really got closer than ever, but we barely had time for each other. He was busy with his studies and I was busy with mine. Although we were busy, we had each other's backs when life got tough. When we struggled, we both helped each other.

Last year, he graduated and he decided to go to Chengdu first before returning to JingYan to study a recipe he wanted to master all these time. I can't express how happy I am for him.

But for me, I'm still just starting on achieving my goals.

"Are you gonna go back to your hometown soon?" A friend of mine who I worked with when I took part-time in a school, Zeyu, asked.

"Right. You know my plans, right? I'm really gonna start it now."

"About that..." He said. "Remember when you asked me if I wanted to be a teacher there?"

I looked at him. I do, but he turned down the offer before. He loved being a professor in that well-known school we worked at.

"I've been thinking... I wanted to work in a famous school because I was really just all about being recognized by people... but when I thought about your offer, it actually sounds great." He showed me a smile. "Your goals... they're amazing. I want to be a part of that."

"Wait..." Is he really? "You want to be a teacher in my school?"

"Yeah. It's surprising to hear it from me, but I've been thinking about living the life away from the city too. Maybe this is the life meant for me." Zeyu giggled at me. "And some of my friends who major in different subjects say they want to join in too."
