After the game, Andrea forced Chrissy to drive her to the mall so she could buy a new walkman.
The guilt was honestly eating her up alive. The only way she could forget it ever happened was to buy Max a replacement.
"You got what you needed?" Chrissy asked once her younger sister returned to the car.
"Yep, can you drive me to Forest Hill trailer park?" Andrea asked as the older girl stared at her confused as to why on earth she wanted to go there.
"Are you going to buy drugs?" She gasped, leaning in close to her sister to see if she had any signs of being high.
"No, what the fuck. Relax." She batted her hand away. "I'm going to a friends house."
"You have a friend that lives in a trailer park?" This shocked the strawberry blonde the most. It was out of character, Andrea didn't like talking to people who didn't live in the suburbs scared it was affect her precious reputation.
"Can you stop interrogating me and drive me there?" Andrea groaned becoming frustrated with the time wasting.
"Oh, sorry." Chrissy turned her head, inhaling a shaking breath, closing her eyes before looking back at her sister with a pleasant smile.
That's when Andrea concluded that something was up with Chrissy. That was strange. She tried not to worry about her sister at this current point of time. All she had to focus on was giving Max a stupid walkman.
Max then Chrissy. Seemed simple enough.
"You're gonna have to walk, I have errands to run, i'm sorry." She told her.
"An errand?" Yep something was definitely up. The oldest Cunningham would never use the word 'errand' especially talking to her sister, even if she did, she would offer to take her with her.
"Yep, have fun at your friends house." Chrissy kissed her forehead. "And tell mom i'll be home late."
Andrea was shocked to say the least and it was very visible in her face but she got out of the car and nodded. "Yeah, okay."
"Wait!" Chrissy called for her before she walked away. "I love you, Andy."
"I love you too." She said more in a questioning tone. Of course she loved her sister but this whole thing was abnormal.
She shook her head dismissing any thoughts she had, focusing on her main goal. Max.
It was super easy to know where the read haired girl lived, seeing as her dad knew everything as the DA. So after some snooping she found where Max lived.
This however didn't stop Max from being both angered and surprised when she saw Andrea Cunningham on her doorstep.
She was about to close the door on her but Andrea prevented that from happening by putting her foot between to door.
"I will not hesitate to break your foot right now." Max glared at her.
A small gasp escaped from Andrea's mouth. "I'm here to give you this!" She waved the walkman around in the air.
"What?" The Mayfield stared at her in disbelief.
"I didn't know he was going to break yours. I'm sorry." Andrea handed Max the walkman with a small smile on her face. "It came with that one Kate Bush song, running up that hill."
Max looked down at the walkman for a moment before looking up at Andrea before a small smile fell onto her face. "Thank you, Andrea."
Andrea felt her knees going weak just standing there. Maybe it was because of the way she said her name. Or maybe it was because of the way Max's eyes seemed to light up when she would smile.
