Chapter Two

The Warrior didn't turn up until mid-afternoon, giving reports to the Alpha, Beta and Gamma.

A good part of the morning is spent on Pack matters, making sure everything was ok for the people. Then went to the business side, which was fairly quick. The Alpha owned several restaurants, hotels and apartment complexes all around the Pack's territory, which Hobi's and my Dad were partners in equally.

I was sat quietly next to Hobi, as Jimin was next to our Alpha.

"Shall we go out to eat?" Holden asked.

"Yeah, I'm starved" Carson, Hobi's Dad agreed.

Jimin drove Hobi and I, as well as JK. I managed to run to the front seat first, pushing Hobi out of the way making him stumble on the ground quickly. The Alpha, Beta and Gamma were laughing at us, as they got into my Dad's car.

"I would kill for one of those steak baguettes" Jimin breathed out as we pulled up outside one of the smaller restaurants that we normally came to when we done things like this, which was a few times a week.

"Mhm, yeah I agree" Hobi nodded as I looped my arm through his.

"Hello everyone!" The owner called out as we all walked in. I saw the little terror that I had watched grow up, he ran straight towards Hobi and I. I chuckled as I picked him up, he started babbling about he went to preschool this morning.

"Eddie leave the Beta Junior be" Sara breathed out giving me a small smile.

I gave her a friendly wink and carried on with Eddie on my hip as we went towards the table.

"Same as usual, Alpha?" Sara asked as we all sat.

"Please" Holden said nodding.

We all placed our orders, and Eddie hopped off me to go and play with some of the other younger children in the restaurant who were all smiling over at us.

I knew the Pack enjoyed seeing all of us, and it was nice to always feel like you were always appreciated going around the town.

I was sat in between Jimin and Hobi, as we all chatted as one big group.

"You smell off Jungkookie" Jimin said very quietly as everyone branded off into small conversations, eating our food as it came.

I smirked slowly, glancing at Jimin as I put a few fries into my mouth.

"I don't care if you've already been fucked this morning, I'll be with you tonight" Jimin breathed out, leaning slightly into my ear.

While it wasn't overly affectionate, it was known that whatever Jimin wanted to say to me that he didn't want anyone else to hear. Our families didn't pay attention to it, because they all knew exactly how much Jimin and I meant to one another.

"How are you feeling about tomorrow, El?" The Alpha asked after we had nearly finished eating.

"Excited, but not looking forward to the pain" I muttered.

He nodded, "the first time is always the hardest. But you know we will all be there right with you. There's a few other first shifters with you as well"

"Yeah, we know them. We went to school together" I replied.

"Your girl is next month isn't she, Wyatt?" My Dad asked the Warrior.

Wyatt nodded, "yeah it falls in perfectly with her break from college"

JK muttered something, causing his Dad to throw a napkin at him.

"She's going to be such a baby when it comes to the pain of shifting" JK said louder, so we all heard it.

Jennie and I had always got on well, and I was looking forward to her being back from college. JK was older than her by just under eleven months, but Hobi was the eldest out of all of us, being a full year older than us, he was in the same group as JK growing up.
