A high school coach was actually watching that game! I felt so much joy in my heart. I cannot believe that he was actually watching me. At the end of the game, he walked up to me and said, "Keep playing hard, you're one of the best guards I've ever seen to play middle school ball". I said "Thank you, sir. I will work my hardest," and I shook his hand and left. I played like I never played before.
Next Game...

The bad thing was that I only had 2 assists. The other good thing was that I got 5 steals! Everyone was cheering as I walked out of the door.
End of season...
I had an amazing 102 points that season, with an additional 40 assists, and a school record of 23 steals! I was pretty much the player of the year averaging 8.6 points, 1.2 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2.5 steals! Everyone wanted me on an AAU team! One high school coach even wanted me to skip 8th grade to play with the high school team!
