Continuation...
Irene got bored and decided to take a short nap instead of drowning herself 'again' from sadness, while Imee was focusing on the road, driving. While driving, Imee quietly takes a glance to her sister from time to time who fell into a deep sleep. She knew that her sister has a lot on her plate.
After what happened between her sister and her ex-boyfriend, she totally changed. She was not the same Irene as before. Her perspective in life, her priorities, her personality and even the way she treats people around her, it weren't all the same.
After the very long and tiring day of driving home, the two arrived safe at their ancestral house at Ilocos, where their family was waiting for them.
Imelda, the mother of the three was quiet worried of her two daughters. "Bong, can you please dial Imee's phone?" She asked her son and take a sip on her coffee. "Alright mommy, just wait right over here. I'll just go outside to find a better signal." He answered. "Alright son, go ahead." She said.
Bongbong the middle child tried to contact her older sister to find out where they are. Dang! Emi is not picking up. He thought.
While walking back and fort dialing his sister's number for multiple times, their security guard opened their gate and there he saw his sister's car. He turned off his phone, and proceeded to where his sisters are.
"Oh bat ngayon lang kayo?" He asked his sisters while his hands where placed on his waist. "Can you please shut your mouth first and help us to put this baggages inside our house?" His older sister retorted, looking tired. "Alright, tabi jan" he said and proceeded to get his sister's baggages outside the car. "Emi where's Irene?" He asked after putting the baggages out. His sister looked at her, "are you blind? She's right infront the car oh, she's asleep." She rolled her eyes with her frustration towards her younger brother's question. "Sungit mo naman, para nagtatanong lang eh" he said. "Eh di mo kase ginagamit ng maayos yung mga mata mo." She answered her younger brother and rolled her eyes again for the second time around.
"Go get that baggages na" she said, "and put it on her room right a way." Imee added while pointing on her sister. "Alright, I'll put this upstairs na. Wala na bang ibang dadalhin jan?" He asked. "Wala na dalhin mo na yan" she said. "Okay manang, wake her up na so you can go inside, mommy is waiting for the both of you kanina pa." He said. "Okay go ahead, we'll follow." She said.
After their short conversation with her brother, Imee decided to wake Irene up from her deep sleep. "Irene!" She called while she tap her sister's shoulder trying not to shock her. "Hmm" she hummed with her eyes closed. "We're here na, get up na so we can get inside and you can continue your sleep. Mommy is waiting na daw for us kanina pa." She said.
Irene slowly opened her eyes and tapped her face to wake her sleeping soul up. "Oh I'm sorry I fell asleep. I thought we're still on the road pa." She giggled. "It's fine, tara na. They're waiting for us na kanina pa daw. " Imee said. "M'kay manang." She said, she fixed herself and opened the car door. "Your baggages were upstairs na, si bonget nagdala." She told her. "Oh! my baggages! I forgot" she giggled. "God! Pati nga gamit nakalimutan na" her sister laughed at her.
Imee hold her hand and they took their step to get inside their house where their family is waiting for their arrival.
"We're here mom!" Imee shouted at the top of her lungs. "Ingay." Bongbong whispered, thinking his manang didn't hear it. "Shush bonget or else we won't give our gifts to sandro!" She rolled her eyes. While Irene was just laughing at the scenario. "Sus pangit adoring!" He sticked his tongue out, obviously teasing his younger sister. Irene's smile immediately fade and looked at him intently. "Really now? Ikaw nga kukuba kuba ka pa rin" she teased him back. "Both of you has no improvements. Your posture were still the same, mga kuba!" She added teasing her siblings.
