School Trip

Sunghoon's POV

"Hyung do you have to go!" I pouted

After the sleepover we got home and Soobin started to pack his last of his belongings into his suite case as today, he'll be going to his school trip along with his friends "Hoon, I'll only be gone for 3 or 4 weeks"

"But that's practically a whole month!" I cried

"But I've seen that you're able to look after yourself already if not, I wouldn't be going to this trip in the first place"

"I guess..that's true"

"Besides, my parents are always willing to help and so will your friends"

"Friends?"

"You know: Jungwon, Jake, Wonyoung and their friend group. Not sure about Heeseung though, he's quite a strange one" says Soobin "either way, I'm sure they'll protect you as much as I will"

"But then...what about my nightmares?" I said timidly

He turns around with eyes wide and shock on his face "I...totally forgot" Soobin said in realisation "I'm so sorry I'll let the teacher know that I won't come on the school trip"

After he said that, I suddenly felt a guilt swelling inside, making me think twice. Is it right to do this? Am I being too selfish? so before he went out of his room, I called out to him "Wait hyung!"

"Yes?" He replied

"Actually..I don't need you to look after me"

"Hmm? Don't you want me to be here?"

"I do! But I can always call you if needed and I want you to have a good time yourself. And like you said, I can take care of myself and cook and clean so there's no need to worry" I rambled on "you don't always need to take care of me when you don't wanna..."

Soobin came up and looked directly in my eyes. "Are you sure you want this Sunghoon?"

I nodded my head in certainty before he wrapped his arms around my shoulders. "Your really brave you know that?"

I didn't respond and just closed my eyes and embrace the warmth before it disappears..

At School...

The bus was finally here and I had to say goodbye to Soobin and his friends.

"Are you sure you really want to stay at home by yourself?" Soobin said one more time

"I'll be fine hyung, I promise"

"If you need help you just need to text me or call my parents or use the 1st aid kit or ask Jungwon or someone to help or-"

"Baby, he's old enough to know how to get help" Yeonjun cutted in "if you don't worry, then he won't either"

"Hyung's right you know" Taehyun added "let's just make the most of it"

"Ok fine..but if you want to contact me then I'll only be a text away ok?" I nodded in reply. I exchanged hugs with everyone before Beomgyu spoke up

"Can we go in the bus? We gotta go now"

"Yeah alright, let's go" Taehyun said

"I'm gonna take the window seat!!" Hueningkai cried

"Yah! Don't even think about it Kai!!" Beomgyu raced after him to fight over who gets the better seat. Once that was over, everyone was now on the bus and headed out. I bid my goodbyes and headed into school by myself.

At Lunch...

I got my food and went to look for a seat. There was no table that was empty neither was there one without constant chatter so, I was about to look for a different location until I heard someone calling my name.
