Summary: you worked at a shop for ninja, but you were a civilian. After going there to buy new seal papers, you helped him and he fell for you. He continued coming back to see you, which only caused his obsession to grow. Then he catches somebody confessing to you....
(Not a request, just an idea that popped into my head)
"Y/N-chan, I like you a lot, and I was wondering... would you like to go on a date with me?" R/G/N (random guy/girl name [I don't judge]) asked, shyly looking at the ground.
You stood there in shock, blushing madly. You're crush R/G/N, just confessed to you. For a few moments, you were unable to think let alone speak. R/G/N seemed to take that as a no, and panicked, stuttering out an apology, which snapped you from your thoughts.
As he began to walk away, you reached out and grabbed their arm. "I would love to go out with you, R/G/N!" you say smiling broadly. They blinked, and turned around to face you, eyes lighting. "Really? That's-" Those were the last words they ever said. Before they ever finished their sentence, a kunai went through their throat.
"R/G/N!" you screamed, before something smashed you're head. As you slumped to the ground, you flinched as arms wrapped around you, and you knew no more. (The end... just kidding lol)

You woke up and tried to scream.... and failed. It seemed you were not only tied to a chair (classic y'know) but also gagged. Fuck.
Since you couldn't exactly let anyone know you were here at the moment, you looked around the room to hopefully find a way out of this place. Nothing really stood out about the place, except that it had no windows. There was only one exit, which was a door directly across from you. If you could break out of these restraints, maybe you could use part of the chair to force the door open, and leave this place.
With an escape plan in mind, you began to wiggle in hopes to loosen the ropes. And if you thought anything had hurt before, it was nothing compared to the severe case of rope-burn you were giving yourself. Exhausted and aching, you closed your eyes to try and get some sleep.

Slam!
Your eyes snapped open as fast as the door did, and you finally got a glimpse of your kidnapper. The world dropped. You'd been expecting something bad, like being kidnapped by an enemy village, but this was worse then you thought. You had been kidnapped by someone you thought of as a friend.
His name was Sai, and he bought sealing paper and ink from your store. You'd taken payment for his order, and eventually he'd come back, saying your sealing paper was the best. Y'all started hanging out on your days off, and he'd never given any indication something was wrong.
Sai knelt in front of you, and stared straight into your eye. "I'm going to remove this" he said, gesturing to the gag, "but you need to promise not to scream, alright Y/N". You nodded slowly, wanting answers. He then smiled, and took the gag out.
For a few moments, neither of us spoke. Finally you broke the silence and asked "Why am I here, Sai?". He blinked and answered "Because I love you of course. I've loved you ever since I met you. I couldn't imagine living without you. So I brought you here. So that people like R/G/N wont try to take you away."
Why would he bring up R/G/N..... unless.....
"Sai" you say slowly, praying you were wrong. "Sai, were you- were you the one... who killed R/G/N". He grinned and replied "Of course! Weren't you just listening? They were trying to take you away from me! I couldn't have that. You deserve someone better than that scum. Someone like me."
Praying didn't do crap. He killed your long-time crush, and kidnapped you. You realized you needed to get the hell out of there, and fast. If he was willing to kill someone..... was there really something he wasn't willing to do.
"Sai? Do you think I could go home? I still have to look after my store y'know? Besides, don't you think people will start to come looking for me? It might lead them in your direction." you said, hoping that would knock some sense into him.
He blinked, then nodded. "You're so smart Y/N-chan. Don't move, I'll be right back. I'm going to fix everything." You had a feeling you weren't going to enjoy this.

Spoiler alert: you were right. He hadn't gone to alert ninja of where you were- no that'd be too easy. Instead, he literally burned your store down, and used it to fake your death. Even worse, he seemed proud of what he'd done.
"Now no one will come looking for you" he said. "And you don't have to worry about your store either. You'll never have to leave me.......
