"Kolly, come on baby, breakfast is ready!" Hailey called through the Halstead's household. Baby Finnegan, known as Finn, seated in his high chair, with his trusty bib on, awaiting breakfast.

Hailey and Jay were both in the kitchen already, as Jay placed Finn's food on his high chair tray, before making sure there was a plate and cup on the table where Kolly would sit.

Jay and Hailey's five year old daughter Kollyns, or Kolly, came into the kitchen, all dressed for the day. Their daughter attended a Montessori school in Chicago, and thrived. Though she didn't have school today, and had the day off.

Kolly was incredibly intelligent for her age, and was well above the level of most five year olds. Plus, the school she attended helped her to become more independent, and utilize many life skills that most schools don't teach.

Jay and Hailey still worked for Intelligence, while Kolly attended school, and Finn went to daycare. If Kolly had a day off from school, Finn would stay home from daycare, and they had a well trusted babysitter to watch both kids. The Halsteads also had a dog. She was a Belgian Malinois, named Lulu. She went to work with Jay and Hailey daily, and she was also trained to fully protect the children, along with many other tasks. Lulu and Kolly were best friends, and it was very evident.

The couple had come to the decision that their family was complete. They had Kolly and Finn, and felt complete with the two. One of each, a boy and a girl, what more could they want? Their puzzle had been finalized, and they were happy.

"Sleep well, Kolly girl?" Jay asked his daughter, as she sat down at the table, in her typical seat. Kollyns nodded her head, "Yeah!" The almost six year old said. "You know, we've got to start planning out your birthday party soon, kiddo" Hailey told the little girl. "Can I help?" Kollyns asked. "Of course you can. It's your party, after all" She said.

The entire family ate their breakfast contently, talking about many different things while they did so. After everyone had finished up, Jay cleared up the dishes, and loaded the dishwasher up, starting it to run its cycle afterwards.

Hailey took baby Finn off to be changed, and to get him ready for the day. Meanwhile, Kolly made her way over to the living room, as she sat down where some of her toys were. Most of Kolly's toys were in her bedroom, but she kept a few out in the living room, so she had things to play with when she was with her parents and her little brother.

Soon enough, the family heard a knock at their front door. Kolly hopped up, and ran to open it. A smile filled the girls face when she saw who was standing outside the house. "Miss Jessica!" Kolly exclaimed.

'Miss Jessica' was the children's nanny. She was the one who cared for little Finn everyday, while Jay and Hailey worked. She also picked Kollyns up from her school, and cared for her until their parents returned home. Jessica also cared for Kolly and Finn for date nights, and plenty of other opportunities.

This day, however, was a bit different than most days. Kolly didn't have school, but she also wouldn't be there with Jessica and Finn. It was "Take Your Child to Work" day, so Kolly would head to work with Jay and Hailey. For the time being, Kolly and Finn were the only kids with parents on the Intelligence Unit, that would at least want to attend. Finn was too young, so he'd stay home with Jessica, and Kolly would go to work with Jay and Hailey.

"Alright Kolly girl, ready to go?" Jay asked her. "Yeah daddy!" the five year old said, happily, as she gave her baby brother a kiss on the cheek. "Bye Finny! See you tonight!" Kolly said. Jay and Hailey gave Finn kisses, and told both him and Jessica goodbye, as they left the house with Kolly. They loaded Kolly up into her car seat in the car, and headed off to work.
