We walk toward my friends and I can tell Betty is uncomfortable, but I can't blame her, this must be difficult.
"Guys, this is Betty and Betty, that's Sweet pea, Fangs, and Toni" I say pointing at all of them, and she shyly nods.
This is a different side of her, a shy and scared side that I don't like, and It makes me wonder if she is only comfortable with me?
"Hey" They say as we sit down in front of them.
Betty is still holding my hand tightly, but I'm not complaining.
It makes me happy to know that she feels safe with me.
When my mom died, I had a hard time being a good person, I was mostly rude and didn't see to purpose to live when you die anyway, but Jellybean always made my world better, and I promised to protect her with my life, but then my dad took her away from me and my world was once again felt with darkness, but have met Betty gave me so many emotions.
"You feeling better?" Fangs ask her, and she nods still looking down, and start playing with my fingers on her lap.
"Toni if you want, I think It would be a good idea to find Betty's parents." I say.
"Yeah sure, I can do that" She says nodding and then Betty looks up at me
"It doesn't matter Jug, they don't even care" Betty's voice is quiet and soft, but they can all hear It and I know we all hear the pain in her voice.
"We need to find out the truth Betts" I say softly, she then nods and looks back down.
We hear a glass shattering making a loud noise and Betty jumps and turns around quickly, scanning the room with panicked eyes.
We all look at her concerned.
"It's okay Betts" She moves over to me and sits sit on my lap while I have my arms around her waist.
I feel her shaking, and I'm trying to calm her down.
I look up at my friends, and they have a smirk on their faces, but are also concerned for the blonde girl in front of them.
I knew It was going to be hard for her to live in the normal world, but the look on her face and her actions tells me It will be a lot harder than I thought.

We all keep talking except for Betty, who only smiles or answers shyly, but every time there is a loud sound or people who are yelling she's grabbing my arm and tense up. The others keep talking, but I know they notice It and I always try to calm her down.
I'm sure now that I won't be at school for some time to help Betty.

Toni asks us what we would like to drink, and we answer then she looks at Betty who looks like she's zoned out and Is in her own world.
"What would you like, Blondie?" She asks, but Betty doesn't answer she's just looking down.
"Betts?" I ask softly and she immediately looks up.
"Huh?" She asks.
"What do you wanna drink?" Toni asks softly
"Is water okay?" Betty asks
"Of course" Toni says and walks toward to bar
"Betty?" I say, and she looks at me
"You're okay?" I ask with raised eyebrows, she nods and looks down again, and I sigh.
"We're going home soon, I promise" I say, and she nods, probably feeling guilty.
Toni came back with the drinks, and we talked a little more before telling them Betty and I had to go.
"Come on Betts" I said, taking her hand and standing up.
"And who's this?" A voice says behind us, I turn around and see a Tallboy walking in front of us blocking our way out.
Great. all people It had to be fucking Tallboy!
"Tallboy this is Betty and Betty this is Tall Boy and his friends" I say, hoping she remembers what I told her about them, and she does because she slowly walks behind me.
 "Oh, so this is Malachai's slut!" He's laughing with his friends while Sweet Pea, Fangs and Toni stand up walking to stand next to us, and Betty still holding in my arm.
"Take that back or get out of here" I say, raising my voice and now once again everyone is quiet, they know that
Tallboy is the only one who has the guts to argue with me and when we do, It's usually not ending well.
"I just want to ask her what a night with her in my bed will cost" He says smirking at Betty and I can tell she's scared.
I want to kick him out. Hell, I even want to kill him, he's so damn jealous of me being the leader and not him.
You see the Serpents came to exist by my family and Tallboy's family and the only possibility to get him out of the gang is if my father also leave the Serpents and I'll be happy if he did, but the problem is no one know where he is, so I can't kick Tall boy out.
Before I was gonna say something, Toni came up in front of him.
"Shut the fuck up Tallboy, Jughead can't kill you, but I can and I will for sure"
"So go back to what the hell you were doing or take the consequences!" She yells up in his face, he scoffs and walks away.
"Come on Betts" I say and she looks at me and nods.

After we get home, we sit down order a pizza and watch movies while she cuddles up to me which I again don't have a problem with.
"Jug?" She says looking up at me with a Pizza slide in her hand.
"What's up?" 
"Do you think your friends like me?" She asks
"They love you already Betts, so you can start calling them your friends" I say, making her smile and we turn back and watch the rest of the movie.

After the movie we got ready to bed, and we said good night and I kissed her head making her giggle, that's the side I love, her smiling and giggling. 
"Sweet dreams" I say before closing the door a bit and going to my own room.
I hope tomorrow will be a better day.
