⚠️ WARNING: TENSION AND SADNESS ⚠️

"Camilla, may I speak with you?". Apollo asked. I nodded hesitantly, as I followed him to his office. He closed the door. "You are going to get married to a man named Christian Valentino, he took our last name in advance, he's coming here today for you to meet him, do you understand?". He asked, as I replied. "Yes father".

"Good, I hope you find happiness in this marriage, Christian is a good man, you know that I'm only doing what's best for your future and our families". "I understand, thank you father". I walked out of his office, as my heart dropped.

My brothers were sat in the main hall, as they saw me. "Camilla, what's wrong?". Calvin asked, as I sighed. "I just found out that I'm getting married". They all stood up, as I put my head down. "It's fine though, father said that he was a good man and he will treat me right, he's meant to be coming here later on today". I walked out of the hall and went to my room.

I was getting ready, as I had a dress on and I did my hair and makeup, jewellery as well. I finished off with some heels and perfume. I walked downstairs, as my brothers stared at me. "You look gorgeous Camilla". Ace kissed my cheek, as my brothers agreed. "Thank you".

The doors opened, as a man walked in with my father. He looked unbelievable, as I gasped lightly. He smiled and walked up to me. "I don't believe it". I smiled. "Ms Valentino-". "No, call me Camilla please". I said softly. "Christian". He rasped, as we both smiled.

We were both in a room, as I was tense. "You seem uncomfortable?". He walked up to me. "I find you very intimidating". I raised my eyebrows. "Is that supposed to be a good or a bad thing?". Christian smirked. "Both". I replied. "Camilla, if you are going to be my wife, you need to know that I'm not going to hurt you, I don't think I ever could". He said softly.

"Thank you Christian, I should be getting some sleep, goodnight". "Goodnight Camilla". He smiled, as I returned it. The next day passed, as I knocked on Christians door. "Who is it?". He shouted. "It's Camilla". I said softly.

He opened the door, with black joggers on. I saw his muscles and his abs, as I stared up and down. Christian quickly put a shirt on, as he cleared his throat. "Is everything okay?". He asked. "Yeah, I just wanted to talk". He nodded, as we sat on the bed.

"My father is not a good man". I started, as he nodded. "I figured". He smiled. "He sexually assaulted me once". I looked down, as he sighed. "Camilla, I'm so sorry". Christian sighed. "It's okay, I'm past it". I smiled. "But Ace has experienced the worst trauma of us all, my mothers death made it worse". I nodded. "I'm sorry, I know what it's like to lose a mother". Christian nodded, as I did as well.

"I promise you, I'm not going to let you suffer any more". Christian held my hand, as I smiled. The next day passed, as I saw all my brothers in the hall. Apollo walked in, as I glared at him. "Did you just pull a face at me?". Apollo walked up to me, as I tried to get away. "No father, I would never". He grabbed my wrist tightly, as I hissed in pain.

"Let go of her, I'm not going to ask you again". Christian walked in, as he looked Apollo up and down disgusted. He didn't, as I tried to get out of his grip. I winced in pain, as he held on tighter than ever. Christian walked up to Apollo, as he grabbed his wrist.

He started crushing it, as Apollo fell to his knees and let go of me. I backed away and rubbed my wrist, as I saw Apollos handprint. I sighed lightly, as Christian bent down to where Apollo was. "If you ever touch her again, you will never see sunlight again, only the light of the flame that will be burning your skin". Christian smirked on the last part, as Apollo went pale.

He returned back to me, as we walked off. We went to his room, as I sighed. "I can't thank you enough Christian-". "There's no need, you know I'll never let anyone hurt you, especially not your bastard of a father". He scoffed, almost cringing at the thought of Apollo.

"How's your wrist?". He asked, as I showed him. It was red and had Apollos hand mark around it. Christian sighed, as he walked off. "Wait there". He shouted back. I was sat in my bed, as he quickly returned with a first aid kit. He put some gel on to soothe the pain, as he wrapped my hand carefully.

He finished, as I smiled at him. He put everything away, as I was in bed. "Get some rest Camilla-". He was at the door. "Wait, can you please stay?". I asked, as he smiled softly. "Of course". He got into bed, as my head rested on his chest. He stroked my hair softly, as his other hand interlocked with mine. I let out a sigh, as I fell into peace. The night darkened, as Christian fell asleep as well.
