⚠️ WARNING: SADNESS ⚠️
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I had a reef in my hand, as I had a cloak on. It was snowing heavily outside and was turning dark. I grabbed my horse, as I galloped off into the woods. Time passed, as I jumped off my horse.
I went over to a grave, while holding a reef. "Hi Christian". I said softly, as I placed the reef on his grave. I sighed and sat down on a bench in front of him. "I just realised that this is going to be my first Christmas without you, and it sucks". I shook my head.
"I came to tell you that Diana is handling the mafia well, in our name, but it's happening, I would picture us having this conversation". I smiled lightly. "It looked different obviously, I was happy with my life, and you were". I paused and looked down.
"Well here by my side, as you always have been". I sighed. "I know you would have wanted me to take on your responsibility, I do want to and I have to do this right, but I have no idea what I'm doing". I said crying, while my voice broke. I put my hands over my face and gasped lightly.
"God I miss you". I sighed, as I looked back at his grave. I grabbed my horse, as it nudged it's head onto me. I smiled slightly, as I stroked it's head softly. I jumped on my horse, as it galloped back home through the snow.
I got back to the house, as my horse was being taken care of. I walked in the house, as I saw my brothers. They looked at me, while I smiled lightly. I sat down, as Ace held my hand.
"The truth is, I lost my husband, father made my life a living hell, I don't know how I can move on from my past". I whispered, as my brothers looked at me. "You have to come to terms with it Camilla, even if that means leaving apart of Christian behind, you just have to remember the good parts of him, not the bad parts of what led to his sacrifice for you". Ace whispered softly, as I looked at him.
My eyes watered, while I gasped lightly. Ace pulled me into a hug, as I grabbed onto him softly. Time passed, I walked into my room. I saw the box with Christians robe in, while I sighed softly.
I walked past it, as I felt a cool breeze brush in my face. I stepped onto the balcony, admiring the view before me. The mountains covered with snow made the atmosphere look unreal.
A follower came up behind me. "Excuse me, Mrs Valentino?". He said softly. I gasped lightly and turned around. I sighed and smiled at him.
"I didn't mean to scare you I'm sorry, but your brother Ace has called for a meeting". "No, no, it's just that your-". I paused. "You were very quiet, but tell my brother I will be down in just a moment". I smiled at him, as he bowed and walked away.
I looked back at the mountains and sighed, as I left my room to go downstairs. I saw Ace, as he smiled. I saw my brothers as well. "What is it, did you call for me?". I asked. "I wanted to show you something, we all did". Ace explained.
It was night, while we all went to my room. "What is it?". I said, as Ace opened the doors to my balcony. "Have a look for yourself". My brothers smiled lightly. I looked over the balcony, as I saw lanterns being lit.
I gasped lightly, as my eyes watered. "When Christian was dying, he asked me to do this for you, as a memory of him, your not alone Camilla, he's always with us, with you, you just have to accept that he reminds by your side, as he always has been". Ace said softly, as he kissed my head.
I closed my eyes gently and hugged him tight. I did the same for the rest of my brothers, as they turned to leave. "We'll leave you to get some rest, goodnight Camilla". Ace said, as I sighed.
"Thank you for everything, all of you". I said softly, as they gave me a small smiled and walked out of my room. I walked back into the balcony and looked at the lanterns floating into the air.
