I woke up in bed and saw that Christian was gone. I got ready and walked outside, as I saw him sanding a boat. "Christian, what on earth are you doing?". I smiled, as he looked back. He walked up to me and kissed me softly. "Shall we go back to bed?". He looked at me, as I laughed.

"Christian, we have more important things to do than have sex or build boats?". I shouted at him, while he threw a cloth at me. "We, you have been no help with the boat at all". He smiled. "My father is still a threat, we have important matters to deal with". I walked up to him. "This, this is important". He patted the boat, as he looked at me.

"And this". He kissed me, while I grabbed his arm. We pulled away, as he shook his head. "Nothing is more important". He rasped, as I smiled.

We were in our room, as I handed Christian a letter. "It's a letter from my father himself, he wants back into this family, I don't know whether I should trust him?". I paced up and down, as Christian shook his head.

"I would stick to what you know is right, we all know how your father can be, but it's your decision". He said softly. "He has no one, I have you, since you are my husband". I stared, as Christian shook his head and stood up. "You cannot do this". He rasped. "Why?". I shouted.

"Because you will not have me". He said, as I frowned. "I've become ill and having a pain in my ear, the physician said that if it carried on, I would not survive long". He explained, as I sighed. "It has returned". He whispered, I started crying.

"No, their wrong". "When I am gone, you will be nothing more than a widow and I cannot abandon you, I cannot, I cannot leave you". Christian came near me and gasped, as we were crying.

"We'll find others, experts". I nodded, as he shook his head. "No, no, Camilla, please hear me". Christian shouted, as I looked at him. He nodded. "I am dying". He pulled me into a hug. "I'm dying". Christian repeated, as I grabbed onto him. I was crying, while we hugged tight.

Time passed, as we were both sat on the bed. We were holding hands, as I sighed. "I thought for a moment, your father would guarantee my survival, but my illness got the best of me". Christian chuckled slightly, as I was crying.

"I love you and I'd do anything for you, I just want to spend as long as I can with you". I started, as he smiled. "I couldn't say anything less". He rubbed my hands softly, as I gasped lightly. "Just know whatever happens, this is not the end I dreamed for us". I said crying, as I stood up and walked out of the room.

My brothers were in the main hall, as me and Christian walked in. "Are you sure about this?". I whispered, as Christian nodded. We both sat down, as my brothers looked at us. "Christian has come to tell you something". I started, as we both held hands.

"I don't know how to put this but, I'm dying, I won't have long, as I'm aware of it, my illness is getting worse, but when I'm gone, I am asking all of you to take care of Camilla, please". Christian said softly. My brothers nodded. "Of course, we'll do everything we can Christian". Ace said sadly.

Christian hummed slightly, as he grabbed onto me. I held him steady, while my brothers looked at us. "You need rest, come with me". I said softly, as we went back to our room. He fell asleep quickly, while I laid with him.

I was going to walk out of the room, as he grabbed my arm. "Please, stay". Christian murmured, as we fell asleep in each other's arms. The next day passed, as I saw Ace. He walked up to me, while he kissed my cheek. "Camilla, how are you darling?". Ace said softly, as I sighed. "I'm okay". I nodded. "And Christian?". He said sadly, as I shook my head. "He just needs rest". We both smiled softly.

I walked into mine and Christians room and saw him sleeping. I smiled softly, as I walked over and sat down on the chair next to the bed. My brothers walked in, as they saw me. "Camilla, it's about father". Nicholas said quickly, as I frowned. "What happened?". I stood up, as they looked at each other.

"Let's go somewhere else and discuss this". Calvin nodded, as we all went to the main hall. "It's father, he wants to come back, to be apart of the family again". Nicholas explained. "No, no way". I shook my head.

Ace walked up to me. "We have stood by you Camilla, we will keep your secret about Christian, we have helped you through your terrors, when father attacked you-". He grabbed my arms tightly, as I backed away. "Stop, I warn you". I rasped and was crying.

"Christian doesn't need to know about this". Ace nodded, as I turned around. "More lies?". I scoffed and shook my head. "No, I'm not going to lie to my husband, who I love dearly, he needs me, he's dying, I'm finished will all of you, you know what, go burn in hell". My voice broke, as I walked off.
